I never called you that (maybe others did), IMO you're likely one of the other kinds of Ukraine war contrarian odd ducks that are about the place (edit: and not a "peacenik" if finding videos of stuff being blown up in Ukraine by the Russian military + posting it)! We'd all like it to "end" soon I hope, Russia seems to be (very) keen on carrying on for now and they keep escalating rather than backing off.

That attack last night was example, where if reports on it are correct they are pulling out more of their "best" weapons in effort to try and breach Ukraine's air defences.

Waging a war the fairly brutal way Russia has of going about it + that strategy of constant escalation when balked (as they have been in Ukraine), well that generally makes it harder & harder for people to stop fighting & then come to agreement. Levels of hate + fear + mistrust of Russia stirred up in Ukraine must be intense by now.

This isn't a territorial dispute and it's very clear from your posts you don't grasp that. Putin is invading Ukraine. He didn't stop when he took Crimea. He didn't stop when his forces proxy invaded a significant portion of Eastern Ukraine. Rewarding him with land doesn't stop him.

The Ukrainians are fighting and depleting Russia's ability to invade them. That is what's stopping Putin from invading. At some point there may indeed be negotiations but it will be on the Ukrainian terms as it is their land and their lives.

More Putin talking points. NATO is the only thing keeping many countries safe from a highly aggressive expansionist Russia under Putin. If Ukraine was in NATO it's unlikely Putin would be invading it.

No one is threatening Moscow. No country wants to invade Russia. No nation on this earth wants to attack that nuclear-armed dictatorship.

However NATO is a threat to Moscow's plans to invade other countries. So they create this Hitler-esque propaganda that they are being threatened by a defensive alliance. Which you swallow and happily regurgitate here along with the rest of your Putin apologism.

How could anyone have the audacity to write that, and write that with a straight face - NATO should be disbanded to appease Putin and reward him for his colossal blunder of an illegal and incredibly barbaric invasion of a sovereign country, that's also wrecking his army and economy.

As terribly managed as Putins invasion has been they've still taken an area of land equivalent to Lithuania, that's just how large Ukraine is. If Putin had attacked Lithuania it'd be gone right now. Of course though he wouldn't do that because he knows right well that NATO could demilitarize Russia in a Bank holiday weekend.

It's just a shame that even some of the most prominent western officials are still to get on board with a hard no negotiation tactic until Russia is out of Ukraine. I roll my eyes when Sky news pundits like Sean Bell or others talk about negotiation. Care to finish that sentence there lads? Negotiate with whom? You don't negotiate with criminal slimebags. What good would a negotiation be? How could we trust the bag of lies masquerading as a government that is the Kremlin. Sorry but no. They must be put back in their box and told how things are gonna be. Call me an absolutist but I really don't see a workable alternative. I'm all ears for one though.
