Am getting the feeling RTE is turning into a bit of a sh"tshow at the moment. Presenters queuing up to say they don't want the late late gig. Staff moving on and constant discussion around salaries. Think Catriona used her maternity time to review her options. Probably felt it mightn't be the worst time to get out of the country for a few years, with all the crap that's ahead of us. And she'd be right.

The hype around this woman is baffling. She is incredibly wooden and stiff in front of camera and completely breaks down when not reading from a script. I would actually say she is among the worst RTE presenters i have seen in my life.

She got where she is through sheer naked ambition and a good dollop of playing the gender card. And i suppose the fake blond thing makes her good magazine article material.

Hear, hear. Solid broadcaster and clearly a pro. Has earned her shot at the big time with Aunty Beeb, and who could seriously talk her down for doing so well for herself? Well, quite a few it would appear.
