Grand Canal Dock Ferry in Dublin Docklands

I work in the docklands area of Dublin. While out on my lunch break I noticed a sign for a ferry from Charlotte Quay to Hannover Quay. It said Free of Charge on the sign and the operating hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00. I stopped for a couple of minutes and watched it. Any one got any further information?

Grand canal sea lock gates are being replaced so WI have put on a free ferry service. State agencies always have deep pockets!

No. It's a small yellow boat. It goes back and forth across Grand Canal Dock.
