Ferrari already off to a flyer and the car isn't even out of the box yet.

I see Alonso in the Top Two on the grid this weekend so.

I'm hoping he's top 5 anyway. Quali should be good on this track, it was better than the race last year.

Hopefully no missiles or serious accidents this year.

Ferrari struggling or not pushing? :/

More technical issues and power unit changes at Ferrari. Within limits so no penalties, but it will hurt them down the line and they're really looking a mess at the moment.

Only practice but it's continuing to look like one hell of a competitive season. Top 7 covered by half a second and 1.4 seconds covers all 20 cars.

Yeah it’s a real breath of fresh air having someone who actually knows what they’re talking about on Sky F1.

Good qualifying, really hard to predict. Great to see 4 different manufacturers in the top 4, and just a little over a tenth between P1 and P2.

Set up for an excellent race tomorrow with so many competitive cars through the field and Max and Charles starting out of position.

Piastri was star of qualifying for me, getting that McLaren into the top 10. Quite a contrast with the performance of the other rookie in the Williams, when it looks like there’s little difference between those cars.

Would fancy Alonso to get in front into turn 1 tomorrow and to try and control the race from there, something he’s brilliant at doing.

Perez V Alonso into turn 1 is going to be very tasty.

Unfortunately, I think half a second per lap car advantage is more than enough to make up for any deficit in determination or race craft. The race is very much Perez's to lose.

I think Sky touched on it the last day but Alonso's ability to read all around him is a massive strength. Can easily see him passing Check and staying in front. What would be interesting is the team orders should Max catch up!

All Alonso can do really is make his car as wide as possible, which isn't so bad on a street circuit like this. Saying that, once the Red Bull punches that DRS, he may not have many options.
