    Flooding?

I think you confusing the words flooding and trickling.

If the Russians continue having "victories" at the rate and at the cost they having now they will loose this war.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

No, I am not. Your support for Russia is obvious, as is your consumption of Russian propaganda. I am trying to figure out why you dodge when asked about your support for dictatorships that encourage and reward rapt, murder, kidnapping of children, men and women…..all while they destroy and steal everything in their path. All Russian supporters refuse to address this. Can you please explain how you rationalise it internally, and how it makes you feel when thinking about your nearest and dearest?

You know well that the Ukr will make sure that the Ru will be the first to know all the points you raise in your post and especially when those tanks will start to roll to the battle front and most especially the numbers rolling and when they expect them to actually start firing - and of course it’s battle strategy!!!!!!!!!!!

Ukraine is now conscripting 16 year olds to fight. Expect a huge increase of male refugees

Other than this debunking of a lie from RuZZian media: https://observers.france24.com/en/europe/20230113-debunked-ukraine-child-soldiers-video

I can't find any proof of your claim. Care to provide it?

Why are these low post count trolls allowed to post here, especially when it's clear that they have an agenda?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

    We have another live one.

Show the evidence to back up your post and hold your breath while gathering it, because I certainly won’t be holding my breath waiting.

An easier answer for you to provide is any of your previous usernames on this thread.

Personally I'd let them, debate and let the chips fall where they may. Let's face it war is by its very nature "agenda" based. But again that's just me.

"Wagner finding loads of bodies in Bakhmut with head and hands chopped off, i wonder why?"

And how do they find them if they are not there yet?

Edit: any links to back up this claim?

No, start from the top of your post I quoted and provide evidence of all the points you made.

Btw, no one here wants a war and it has been explained to you before.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

Yes a loss for you. You were asked for evidence, and you were extremely selective about one detail that is not really relevant to the war. You failed to back up your nonsense. So yes, it’s another loss for Russia.

The Ukraine morning report only indicates further deterioration in the Bakhmut situation. There is now only one back road in and out of the city.

Russian military budget $69B, the USA alone has pumped $100B into Ukraine last year

What that actually shows is the incredible gap between Russian resources and America's. The latter spends over ten times that on a yearly basis. This meme while childish has a lot of truth to it.

    US healthcare.jpeg

100 billion is essentially buttons to them and while they're at it, they have some of their allies in the region giving out of date Soviet/Russian kit to Ukraine, in exchange for more up to date US kit, thus increasing their arms export industry for the future. If nothing else comes out of this misadventure the Russian arms export industry is effectively on life support, if not dead for the foreseeable(never mind the sanctions that constrict supply in the first place). Well Iran and North Korea will buy some from them. Bless.

USA carrier cant enter the Black Sea, come on you know that, so why post it?

Fact is Aircraft carriers, jut like Battleships in WW2 are obsolete, a aircraft carrier is only good again rinky dink military's, a modern one with plenty of anti ship missiles just fires dozens at once, overwhelm the defense's only one has to hit home and the aircraft carrier is sunk.

Indeed, as what happened to the Russian flagship in the area. Sunk by a nation who doesn't have a navy, while the rest of the Russian fleet hides on the other side of Crimea to avoid the same nation without a navy.

My point was the level of overwhelming force actual NATO could bring to bear on Russia's conventional forces would render them ineffective in very short order(the carrier fleet would not be the first shot fired. Observe how US combined forces operate. The fleet would be in play after Russian forces would be rendered effectively blind and deaf). There would certainly be NATO losses, but Russia's would be far far higher, and they know it. Their only chip to throw in - and they mention it a lot, which should tell you something - are their nuclear weapons.

Never mind that NATO had no and still have no intention of direct military contact. They're happy to sit back and watch, and watch Russia bleed out with none of their servicemen coming back draped in the Stars and Stripes. QV the missile that landed in Poland and killed two Poles. The Ukrainians accused Russia of it, but within hours the US and NATO were directly and publicly contradicting the Ukrainians, said it was a rogue Ukrainian missile and kept them out of the investigations. If NATO wanted a "false flag" to go, that was giftwrapped. Which again should tell you something.

This post should be stickied - just goes to show how much effort Putin bots go to to spread their BS. Because, some claim Putin/Russia wouldn't bother with Boards.ie.

@Pattonstankdivision I'll explain so you can understand, NATO troops are on the ground, in the form of "mercenaries", the fancy equipment donated by NATO is operated by these "volunteers", the Russians are destroying this equipment as it enters the battlefield..

No they are not,no Nato troops are on the ground in Ukraine

I think that the convicts have to wear special colored wrist / arm bands to denote which / what infection / illness they are suffering from. Imagine the effect that will have on the other soldiers...

These morally impoverished "pseudo-sympaths" are all the same.

No imagination, so no sense of humour, so no ability to understand anything abstract.

That's why their sole recourse is to pretend they're the only ones displaying the appropriate gravitas.

Their use of language is always so strained, I guess they're just carrying out their assignments without being remotely curious enough to recognise a crock of sh!t.

Why do they even try in Ireland?

They would be far more productive in India.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 342 ✭✭ElitesTeam

Foreign fighters who travel to Ukraine would have trained in NATO countries so they are NATO soldiers who volunteered.

Yes, in principle is fine, debate is good. Except for that if they are THAT kind of trolls then we help them tune their message for wider audiences and earn their rubles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,525 ✭✭✭Curious_Case

    Absolutely !!

Monitoring public posts on Boards is an ideal way for Orwell Rd. to gauge public opinion in Ireland.

Obviously they're also trying to sway opinion but their efforts are actually amusingly pathetic.

What a devolved race of Neanderthals.

This is why you want me banned, i am running rings around the pro war posters, too easy, all of you afraid of fact and to counter my posts, so cry for a ban😂🤣

Here's a fact for you. Russia doesn't even have an operational equivalent 5th generation fighter. They have a handful of near prototypes, you can even see exposed riveting on them for feck's sake. India, Russia's "friends" once a partner willing to buy 100's of them have backed out of that deal, because they could see it was a uncooked turkey. The Yanks at least have fully operational 5th generation fighters and a couple of different types, and as your linked article points out were designed to go head to head with Russian forces in a European theatre.

What has Russia got? Capable enough 4th gen kit, but no real match for Western kit. They'd be targetted before their opponents even showed up on their now out of date radar. They do have the Mig 31. Based on the old Mig 25 that was once feared by the West, until one was nicked by a Russian seeking asylum in the West. It was found to be not nearly the threat they thought. That said and ironically the Mig 31 is a very nice bit of kit indeed. Very fast, very high flying and has very long range missile capabilities on top. If there were ever open warfare with NATO the irony would be the once feared Foxbat update would likely be the platform that could cause the most headaches.

Ah, so NATO troops are on the ground in the form of "not NATO troops".

    Textbook doublespeak.

    You bore me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,498 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

No, they are individuals who have volunteered.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,313 ✭✭✭✭markodaly

So the last hurdle has already begun. Expect F-16's or some variant of it to be given to Ukraine in about 6 months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭TheValeyard

I'd say they've been training on these yokes for last few months, but the policy of slow escalation means it cannot be acknowledged or publicly stated until another threshold is crossed.

Russian losses already mounting hugely before their new offensive even begins officially.

All commentators I've seen have poured cold water over their ability to use their 500,000 newly mobilised troops be make a decisive impact on the war. They may well capture some territory, but to think they can do something that they weren't able to do last year doesn't make sense, given that most of their experienced soldiers have been killed or wounded and they are suffering shortages in supplies in ammo, shells and other gear.

The last thrown of the dice from Putin and his regime, because what else can he do if and when this new offensive fails? Call up another 500,000 men and give it another go?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭TheValeyard

Ah now Russia is breaking out the soviet rreserves to bomb apartments blocks including anti carrier weapons. Russian missiles are severely depleted.

Opinions and indeed propaganda of any stripe are only effective in echo chambers. If they're talking nonsense the echo chamber will agree with it. It has to or it'll be removed. It's only when they're exposed to wider debate does their position become challenged and some sort of reality established, which in turn informs the wider debate. It's precisely why I consider current Russia a busted flush. It allows little or no debate that goes off script and prefers, even insists on official fanstasies to bolster its worldview.

Sadly even the interwebs has gone this way and why IMHO platforms like forums where you can't avoid "other opinions" have died off, to be replaced by platforms that allow upvotes, ignores or blocks to stop challenges to the narrative, personal or societal. But I digress...
