Lounging around the gaff, doing nothing in particular, had thought about going for a long walk in the park but I’m coming down with another rotten head cold. 🙄🤧

Finally in for the night. A roaring fire. Dublin v Kildare, a few beers and a chicken curry in the pot for later.

Just had a fun couple of hours unblocking the sewage pipe. Think it was luxury toilet paper that did it this time. It doesn't disintegrate, just goes into a ball of perfect material to block a pipe. We have a delicate outlet pipe too.

It's a job that makes me angry, frustrated, anxious, disgusted, ...

But at least it's done, just in time too.. 'cause it's dark now.

    Aaaaggghhhhhhhhhhh !

its in a plastic tub that I can’t get the lid off, I’ll take a hammer to it tomorrow !! Otherwise id expect an explosion.

That's why i suggested lid over it so heat would expand something but if it exploded first it'd be contained

Chinese takeaway and watched An Cailin Ciuin this evening, what a beautiful film!

Commiserations! Been there done that. The flush here is pathetic...So now I keep a plastic bag nearby and toilet paper goes in there and is then burnt. I learned in my years oon an outer Orkney island that plumbers are a very very rare breed on small offshore islands. .

A drain specialist once advised me to buy the cheapest toilet paper Lidl sells.

    The ply is very thin.

Your ass won't know the difference if it's cheap or premium brand 😁

"Exciting" in my experience, is vastly overrated.... Creates....... Not a single sound out here and I LOVE it. Peace...

Grub done. In the lonely leaba tonight and watching Carry on Henry. Ms G is chilled out. Mrs G is in Birmingham. A nice evening of sport, beers, Tombraider and food!

In the leaba, gorgeous day here, temps got into double figures, 11 degrees in the car and I was too hot out walking, drizzling now but hopefully dry tomorrow.

My watch says that it’s 8 degrees, perfect for my walk to the gym. Let’s see if my 1 month membership from Dec 04th is still valid :):)

People do say January is a long month but that's pushing it!!

My bedside clock says 5.56 but the computer says 6.37

Not that it really matters out here...

Just sent literally half an hour ordering from an online pharncay. Gee they were picky! Usually they are fine but this one!

Fabulous birdsong here this morning, just had coffee and one sweet from the Rose's tin that's still half full, that's my healthy eating ruined for the day.😁
