Finally in for the night. A roaring fire. Dublin v Kildare, a few beers and a chicken curry in the pot for later.
Just had a fun couple of hours unblocking the sewage pipe. Think it was luxury toilet paper that did it this time. It doesn't disintegrate, just goes into a ball of perfect material to block a pipe. We have a delicate outlet pipe too.
It's a job that makes me angry, frustrated, anxious, disgusted, ...
But at least it's done, just in time too.. 'cause it's dark now.

its in a plastic tub that I can’t get the lid off, I’ll take a hammer to it tomorrow !! Otherwise id expect an explosion.
That's why i suggested lid over it so heat would expand something but if it exploded first it'd be contained

Commiserations! Been there done that. The flush here is pathetic...So now I keep a plastic bag nearby and toilet paper goes in there and is then burnt. I learned in my years oon an outer Orkney island that plumbers are a very very rare breed on small offshore islands. .
A drain specialist once advised me to buy the cheapest toilet paper Lidl sells.

Grub done. In the lonely leaba tonight and watching Carry on Henry. Ms G is chilled out. Mrs G is in Birmingham. A nice evening of sport, beers, Tombraider and food!
In the leaba, gorgeous day here, temps got into double figures, 11 degrees in the car and I was too hot out walking, drizzling now but hopefully dry tomorrow.
