Does anybody know how many people they called to be interviewed for MEATH?

    Thanks.

Had my interview today. I'll just leave some info in case it's helpful to others to compare. I had an OOM in the 420s. Got the expression of interest email on 9th December, replied the same day to confirm I wanted to proceed to interview. I was sent the invite with the link and familiarisation materials on 13th December, with interview date of today 18th January. I presume such a long gap because of the christmas period.

Interview was standard competency-based stuff for the most part, 5 competencies only as they combine Drive & Commitment etc + Professional Knowledge etc. The interviewers were nice but I found them to be interrupting a lot compared to other civil and public service interviews I've had. I don't know if that's a good or bad sign tbh. Sometimes it felt like they had what they needed and wanted to move on, other times it felt like I wasn't giving them some essential element that they were looking for. Oh well! They indicated at the end that I would get results in 5-10 following conclusion of this batch of interviews, which I think are continuing until the end of the week or so. So basically 1-2 weeks wait for the result. Not sure what I'm expecting. I would usually have a good idea of whether I passed or not, but in this instance I'm stumped!

I had mine last week and felt very similar to you. It felt like they were very much in a rush and I was left feeling like I hadn't given them what they wanted. My interview was 43mins long, my CO interview was 55mins.

I have no idea how I did but I expect to find out either this Friday the 20th or the following Friday the 27th.

    Best of luck to you!

Anyone know how far they are on the Cork open and interdepartmental panels?

I got my interview invite for the beginning of February.

When called for interview do they give you any indication who is on the panel.

I got the Interview Familiarisation Material, and receved a confirmation of acceptance email when I accepted the interview.

    Thanks

Oh, I believe you should receive the panelists. I've gotten confirmation of acceptance, but no Familiarization Material yet.

I received details of the interview panel before my interview. Assume it's still the same process for everyone.

I did as well and was glad I had an opportunity to find some background information on them.

Has anyone on the external panel heard or have been offered an interview for Galway. I emailed for an update but no reply as of yet.

    Morning,

Does anyone have any knowledge of the clearance process.

I have been told there are two ahead of me in clearance.

    Thanks

Does anyone know if the latest batch of interviews finished last week, or is there more scheduled for this week? I'm eager to see when I might expect results, I interviewed last week.

I'm interviewing for Dublin next Monday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9 toyoct20065

A colleague interviewed mid December for interdepartmental and he was in 400s. I interviewed open stream last week, and was in late 400s, so they seem to be moving through the lists.

Oh thank you! Its the waiting for results now that's killing me. So I was interested to see if more going on this week, or if they're starting a new batch now next week. Think it's mad how long you're left waiting for the results.

    Any update for Wexford?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 460 ✭✭skidmarkoner

Start of the month was 39 open and 11 inter. Doubt they will call more until after the first batch is placed I seen a few new EOs knocking about my department last week so I'd say they placed a few allready

Can people who’ve completed their interview clarify if there’s 3 people on the interview panel?

I’ve my interview next week and was sent a list of 9 or 10 different board members

Each person has dates beside their name to indicate which day they will be interviewing. I have 2 and a representative from PAS as far as I can make out
