Whatever, like I said, no point. The fact remains - and that can't be rose tinted away - that there were options only a year ago, they weren't even bad unless of course you had an agenda. Now all there is left is no future, death, rubble and deprivation. And no free Ukraine whatever the outcome.

Thats not a fact. Thats you falling hook line and sinker for Russian propaganda.

You havent even tried to refute any of the arguments put to you completely discrediting your claims.

A last refuge of someone who cant support their argument is shouting fact - your post is fact free.

How was ukraine meant to be free while acceding to Russian domination.

    Thats not freedom.

Thats the future into eternity Russia had planned for Ukraine. And is Russias future on its current trajectory which is why it wanted Ukraines resources and children.

No one here is playing war games. No one here wanted a war but Russia started one and in many ways it affects us. The war could end today if Russia wanted, but it doesn’t. So forgive people for choosing not to support the raping, murdering, torturing, genocidal state of Russia.

You have no moral high ground nor superiority in this message to and fro.

What do the Russians do when they take territory. Send the entire population any that's left alive that is from their bombardments previously, is send everyone to "filtration" camps. If there's any sign of agreement or support for Ukraine (the country that they were born in and have passports for) is they get a bullet to the brain.

Go back to whatever hole you climbed out of. Wagner supporter.

Have a look at the scale of the damage done in Dnipro. These guys are terrorists like ISIS or Al-Qaida.

I think they are a lot more dangerous than ISIS and Al-Qaida since they have been allowed build up a military force so much bigger than the other terrorists mentioned. Ukraine is already starting to reduce the russian advantage in the conflict and hopefully the new year sees the russian forces reduced even further. There should be no restrictions on what weapons Ukraine gets to deal with the terrorist state of russia.

Between a rock and a hard place...chained to a murderous Russia who will steal everything, or the evil Blackrock....choices, choices, but its a no -brainer. Go for Blackrock and get Russia to pay for it.

Would you prefer it to be owned by Russian Oligarchs ?

Russia meddling in Ukraine is what has kept it poor for so long despite its natural resources. Ukraine desired to separate themselves from this and as soon as they did Russia seized some of their territory in 2014.

A declaration of neutrality wouldn't have prevented the war, only allowing Russia to steal and utilise Ukraine's natural resources while continuing to have excessive control over their politics would have done so. Essentially remaining a Russian vassal state.

And the question of the re-patriation of east Germany to its rightful owner, Vlaidimir Putin.

Of course Blackrock is the better option, the only option. Russia will not be paying a penny though, there is no plans to March on Moscow. Tax payers in the west will pay or it.

We have hundreds of billions of their assets locked up. A significant chunk (or all) of that can be used to help rebuild Ukraine.

Possibly. I’m not sure though. Not sure they US would be comfortable with just taking that money. That could set a precedent which could have dangerous consequences for the future of the worlds economic system.

And the torture of men, women and children? The kidnapping of thousands of children? The deliberate targeting of infrastructure of no military value? And Putin's claim to be returning Russian land? Where does any of this fit into your deluded options? You should take off the tinfoil hat and try some fresh air. Maybe go have a chat with some Ukrainian refugees and ask them if they agree with your theories.

I think the Ukrainians shall manage or negotiate to get a fair deal out of Blackrock as opposed to our craven croud (Noonan) and the vulture capitalists here, or worse Bertie and Liam Lawlor giving away the Corrib gas field.

Just to put it clearly for all.

This was has been ridiculously cheap for the west, the guns/ammo/vehicles being supplied were built for this task and it's devastating the russian war machine to the point where no one will take them seriously on the world stage for a long long time (if something happens with China, it will likely be naval/air/amphibious in nature rather than this re-run of WW1 tactics).

The rebuilding of Ukraine will be financed by seized russian funds and very long term loans, again, very cheap in the grand scheme of things.

Given the war has happened, from the NATO perspective, it's been a massive success, driven membership, russia impotent, russia burning itself internally anyway.

Of course, the best thing to happen would be for russia to withdraw, the better thing to have happened was for them not to invade in the first place as NATO would never envisage stepping a foot on russian territory (and russia won't dare touch NATO, everyone could see how frightened putin was when the errant missile hit poland).

For russia, and really putin, this was an attempt to show how great they were and quell the inevitable descent as ordinary, internet connected, russians could see the standard of living raise in places like ukraine while they have nothing but corruption and oligarch's plundering their resources. It may have worked to an extent anyway as they've isolated the people away from the rest of the world and now have more control over domestic affairs, at the cost of their impotence on the world stage.

And your Russia is pretty much the same, F**, devoid of young and able, owned by Putin and his Oligarchs, 100 times worse than Blackrock, A pariah state, living with other pariah states, shunned by decent successful Country's. Sinking lower and lower each passing year, until it implodes inwards on its self. While Ukraine will integrate with the EU and the civilized world, and yes, that includes NATO. solving its problems with the EU and the West. Meanwhile, RUZZIA....continues on its path of self-destruction, being controlled by China and stronger economies, which by that time will be most of the world. Putin will have succeeded in the destruction of the Russian federation.

Seems they used Anti ship missles into attack on the civilian population missles using a 1 ton war head designed to be used on US aircraft carriers in the 60's

The orcs threw everything at Soledar and barely captured half a small town.

They destroyed themselves to capture nothing of significance. This is the very best they could do after 6 months. The war is over. The orcs are finished.

A big chunk of it is blocked by Europe. I haven't seen much resistance to the notion that it's used to rebuild Ukraine.

Russia set a pretty big precedent by invading a European country and using energy as a weapon against us, which has had it's own global economic impact, so I don't think the world will get in much of a flap if he's made to cover some of the financial cost of his bitter war on Ukraine/Europe/the West

In terms of destructive capability, I take it that this would be the equivalent to using a sledgehammer to crack a nut? Basically wasting munitions? because they are running out of them? ( BTW, I'm not trying to detract from the absolute horror of it )

So a residential building is a bigger threat to Russia than NATO naval assets.

    But but but NATO.

Another example of the absolute nonsense of Russia lying about being threatened by NATO expansion and all they wanted was a neutral Ukraine.

    And another Russian war crime.
