We're focussing on Mary today. Or rather, Marys...

Question 12: name one of the Marys in the pictures below...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Mary Black, Mary Lou McDonald, Mary-Kate Olsen, Mary Quant

Mary Tyler Moore, Mary Berry, Mary J. Blige, Mary McAleese

Again, all answers were given, but by how many people...?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

    Mary Tyler Moore sheeps

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

And we have a new leader again

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,064 ✭✭✭✭ HeidiHeidi

    Ah FFS 🙄

Right, I'm thinking of going back to the start, treating this as my own private SHEEP game, and absolutely trouncing you all!

I didn't know who half these Mary's were. Limited choices but at least I gave a right answer this time!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Because I'm nothing if not predictable...

Question 13: name one of the Joseph's* in the pictures below...

    *Jo/Joe etc etc

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

    Trickier today, here's the answers...

Joe Biden, Joseph Wiseman (played Dr No), Joe Strummer, Joe Pesci

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Joseph Plunkett (one of the leaders of the Easter Uprising), Joey Carbery, Joe Duffy

Fairly large sheep on the way...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Big sheep for Joe Biden, and Joe Pesci is hot on his heels. Edser and Trigger pick up a couple of very nice aces. I suspect more people knew Joey Carbery, but Edser getting joseph Wiseman is very impressive.

Which means we have new leaders again...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

According to an earlier Forum of Games game, the mostly Christmassy sweets are Quality Street, so a simple question today

Question 14: name a sweet in a tub of Quality Street

(I'll have to be strict on you getting the name right)

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

    Final call for @Mutleyboo

  • Registered Users Posts: 267 ✭✭ Mutleyboo

By the skin if my teeth! Hopefully

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

    Here's today's answers...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

It's a very even spread of answers again today with the sheep only scoring 4, so even the incorrect or missed answers are only worth 6. It's a nice ace for Aisling with Orange Creme

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

guiri now takes the outright lead, but BuileBeag is only a point behind. Edser went awol but manages to hold on to a podium place...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

I have no idea what that gif is 🤣

Today, we turn to TV, and Christmas specials

Question 15: name one of the TV series from the Christmas specials shown below...

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

    Today's answers...

Friends, Blackadder, The Royle Family, Community

The Office, Black Mirror, Dr Who, Father Ted

Every answer was given, but by how many people...?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

The Office is a fairly large sheep, including our current leader, guiri

16 people then score 4 points!

Posy and Necro do best, with just 2 points each for Blackadder

guiri's sheep means that, fresh from her victory in round three of Necro's epic last night, BuileBeag is our new leader!

The pack isn't far behind though

Strawbs is starting to look a little adrift at the bottom but, unlike Butty, still has a lifeline...

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,064 ✭✭✭✭ HeidiHeidi

How do these lifelines work again?

Now that I've dragged myself up off the bottom again, the competitive instinct is beginning to kick in (ever so slightly, and utterly in vain!)

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Any day you can play your lifeline and just score one point. If you forget to enter one day, I'll play it automatically for you

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

As everyone loved it so much last time, let's have another geography question! Closer to home this time though, Irish counties...

Question 16: name one of the 32 counties which contains none of the letters in ELF.

So Dublin would be incorrect, as it has an L in it

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

One hour warning for @HeidiHeidi and @Mutleyboo @mutley18

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

There were 8 answers today. Unsurprisingly, you got them all between you

    Antrim

    Armagh

    Cavan

    Cork

    Down

    Mayo

    Monaghan

    Roscommon

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

Mayo is the big answer, Down and Cavan are where you wanted to be

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,332 ✭✭✭ Electric Nitwit

BB holds on at the top with Barna moving into the joint lead, albeit without a lifeline left

  • Registered Users Posts: 827 ✭✭✭ StrawbsM

well its about time I got a low score!
