I presume Charlie Cox is going to play Murdock again; can't imagine any other scenario. While the other obvious question will be just how hardcore it'll be.

This news should have me really excited as i think the Netflix Daredevil series is the best thing Marvel has actually produced to screen, but given the idiotic mess all of their disney+ exclusive shows have been so far, i cant see it being nothing more than another disappointement, and even more so as the foundations are already there to build upon, i just see them copping out, turning it PG and making it another goofy mess 😕

Thus isn’t an official announcement but I think it is safe to say that when it does come that Cox and D’Onfiorio (??) are guaranteed to be named.

It would be good if Disney got Henson, Woll and Whalley back too. I would like to see Father Paul back too so hoping it isn’t a sequel series. Not a reboot either.

They are going to lighten it up a bit to fit better into the MCU and the violence will be scaled back. However I don’t think they will be interested in keeping it something like original show.

EDIT: I liked the Daredevil costume but it needs a slightly brighter red.

I'm late to the party but finally back to watching season 3. Had stopped after a couple of episodes when it was released and didn't go back to it., Thought it was moving a bit slow and there were other things to watch. When i eventually did, it was gone to Disney so i gave up on it. Subbed to Disney today and tried it again, raging i skipped it first time around. Just on ep 5 but that one shot scene in the prison was absolutely epic. Looking forward to finishing this off and see him show up in she hulk.

Cox confirmed it is a reboot this will be season 1 not season 4.

"It is a Season 1, it is not Season 4, so it is a whole new thing,

"Which I think is the way to go. If you are going to do it again, do it differently."

I figured as much with the born again title, if they are gonna take from that comic story, they would have to start over, as season 3 of the Netflix Daredevil takes ALOT from that comic itself..

Then again, the Born again comic is fairly dark, i cant see them going with the same tone, so its possible they are just taking the name or doing a PG version of the comic.. Which is likely to be sh!t, given all Marvels Disney+ effort so far, sadly :(

Elodie Yung is the title character in a Fox series called The Cleaning Lady which only just launched at the start of this year. Being a Fox show of course means she's under the right umbrella to avoid conflict of interest.

It was an absolute delight to work with everyone on all of those shows at Netflix. They were the beating heart of all of those shows. I would be honored and thrilled to work with any of them again. I would hate to single anyone out and I would hate to speculate because I just don’t know what the plan is going forward. That’s way above my pay grade. There are so many great stories to tell. There are stories to tell again. That wouldn’t be inconsistent with what they do in the comic book universe. Often a new writer and artist will take over a book and they will start from beginning. So maybe we’ll be doing that, but I genuinely don’t know. I’m just thrilled that I’ve been invited to the party.
