As long as you are looking for work, and cooperating with the social welfare with regards to attending meetings when requested, and providing evidence of your efforts to gain employment, then you shall remain entitled to claim jobseekers allowance for as long as you need it. They won't cut you off for being on it too long, as long as you continue to satisfy the qualifying conditions.

What they will do if you continue to remain unsuccessful in your efforts to gain employment, is put you on a community employment or tus work placement scheme. The department will assign you an employment advisor, to assist you with your efforts to gain employment. As long as you are trying to find work, then you don't have anything to worry about.
