Also Jesse Kriel was in a horrid way after making a tackle on Caleb Clarke.

There's no way he should be allowed back on the pitch.

Jesus the fronting up by the Boks is inhuman.

Same last week. NZ cannot get over the gain line in phase play.

    Pearce saved the AB's there.

NZ with a man advantage for the last 9 minutes, yet spend half of that time defending in their own half.

    Ominous!

Has Aaron Smith lost a lot of the zip from his pass? I cannot overstate how good I think he was over a very long period, but he looks pretty ordinary these days?

    Definitely.

I do think NZ look better going forward with Mo'unga. They're finding a few more gaps, but they still can't seem to keep any continuity going.

At 8.00pm on Saturday 12th November this year, France host the Boks in Paris.

The collisions between the forwards in that game could be downright seismic.

NZ looking much more NZ like in the last 10 minutes. I HATE how cynical SA are...as soon as NZ get into the 22, it's entirely predictable that a penalty is coming...SA absolutely shameless in slowing ball at the breakdown.

Two dangerously high tackles there, there should be a yellow for the one on Clarke, tbh, despite the try.

Very cynical from SA there, they were one penalty away from a card and Eztebeth was close to a yellow and penalty for that last tackle.

NZ going well here, took them 30 minutes to get into the game and some amazing defence is why the narrative of this game is where it's at now.

Thought so as well, that first one especially was well worth another look.

It's a bit like NZ doing to them what we did to NZ.

They know SA are likely to be cynical in the 22 and are learning that modern refereeing is more in tune to it than before. We knew NZ took the piss at the breakdown for years but are now being reffed more accurately and used that to our advantage.

Lot of one out phases prior to that try, inviting SA to be SA.

    Clever.

Bizarre scoreline though... SA will be incredulous that they've nothing on the board.

    Sexy conversion 😊

Aaron Smith trending the one sleeved jersey

Poor auld boards creaking at the seams.

Thought I was the only poster posting for the first 20 minutes of that game, despite regular refreshing.

Fascinating second half coming up. I’m not surprised that NZ have shown signs of improvement, but overall it hasn’t been the most high quality game. The early substitutions have made a difference. Can see SA push on in the second half and nick it. Oddly I would like to see NZ win given they are the underdog. Which in itself is a novelty.

I dunno, NZ playing all the rugby and SA being exposed for what they are, one dimensional. NZ comfortably

Gonna put a game in this stadium on my bucket list.

Smith is not as consistent in his passing anymore but I thought he played a couple of beauty's in the first half. Made a few bad one's too mind but when he gets them right he just creates so much momentum for the receiver. Best passer ever in my opinion.

If you can gain any kind of parity with South Africa physically you go a long way to beating them. They are pretty ordinary in attack and they can be gotten at with any kind of quick ball.

"I'm not sure if he's heard your whistle mate"

HE IS STANDING 6 FEET FROM IT.

The guys immediately beside him heard it too. Reversal in correct

Why Pearce has to go to the big screen to reach the decision is baffling… it happens snout 3 meters away from him, he knows he’s blown the whistle…

Reversing a penalty in a kickable position in a tight game over a tackle that was otherwise fine... I think that's a fair enough check.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,589 ✭✭✭standardg60

how many tackles has Sam Cane missed in this game?

Barrett lucky there, should have been competing to make sure that ball went out - was lucky ball went into touch.

NZ bring pinged big time for leg holding was very apparent they were doing that when we played them but they weren’t pinged for it.

    Brilliant.
