Why no hose pipe ban yet? Its disgraceful.

This is a couple of weeks old but I guess it still holds.

water levels are well monitored here, just as good as other countries, as others have said, we havent experienced the same level of water shortages as other countries, but it probably will be implemented soon, water bodies advise government, and currently, theres obviously no concerns, hence no ban

there's no need for a ban, we've had plenty of rain all summer. We have a 2 week dry spell in July and another one this week, that's it.

As mentioned, I don't think there's a shortage in Ireland. Here in UK land it's been drought weather, 25-30 degrees every day, not a drop of rain in weeks. The auld fella suggested I paint the grass to get back some semblance of green - funny fcuker

Why should we bring in a hose pipe ban just because the British have done it?

We have our own water level monitoring in place and are well able to react and respond as necessary- just like we have done in the past.
