Russia - threadbanned users in OP

On February 28th, Orban stated that he would not allow aircraft carrying Turkish drones transit Hungarian airspace. The aircraft in question was a Ukranian registered An-124 ( look back on the flightpath archives on FR24 or my post to that effect). OSINT posts on various sites, for example Live UAmap, also intimated that Orban threatened any aircraft thought to be carrying arms from Turkey in support of Ukraine. The aircraft in question made a wide berth of Hungarian airspace and eventually landed in J-town.

A couple of points of interest.

Recent Synthetic Aperture Radar images of the bridge in Kherson showed up some triangular-shaped returns in the channel next to the bridge.

These are thoughts to be radar reflectors, designed to draw away or confuse seeker-heads.

Also, Russia killed the founder of the Nibulon company Oleksiy Vadaturskyi a few days ago. Apparently, he was asked to collaborate, but refused. His company transports grain using barges.

Russian Navy personell commandeered two barges today and are currently moving them up the channel towards the bridge. It is thought that they will either be flooded and used as a base for a pontoon-type bridge, or be sunk to restrict access up the channel.

Made many trips in one in the early 90's from Weston to IOM for Mr. Gubay. Prop tips always appeared way to close to the fuselage. A very, very steady platform for what the US Army use it for.

And its the world leaders that count....they understand very well the threat that Putin poses, and for certain sure, they are not dropping off the radar. On the contrary, they are ramping up their support for Ukraine,,,,you ain't seen nothing yet. We are facing a few tough months, but when spring arrives, if Putin is not gone before hand, he will definitely be so weakened by then, he won't be posing any threat to any one. I just wonder in regards the equipment and supplies been given to Ukraine by America at the moment will that slow down if America believes there might be something very soon brewing with China over Taiwan. They might be thinking we might need this for ourselves. I suppose if we see supplies and equipment that was ear marked for Ukraine been halted or considerably decreased then there is a good chance America believes China will invade Taiwan.

The USA is really only able to wield soft power when it comes to Taiwan. Short of engaging in a war themselves with China, which is very unlikely over Taiwan, very different matter to supply weaponry in real time if there was a conflict. You'd think that whatever Taiwan needs to defend itself from military assault is already in place, insofar as it can be. More likely that China just keeps building business relationships with Taiwan and takes over it's economy effectively. A process of slow absorption.

We theoretically could do the same with Northern Ireland, if we had the funds and the mind to do it.
