Final Tickets

I’d say like most years tickets don’t really start surfacing until Thursday/Friday

I remember last year looking for one and nobody I knew had one by the Wednesday. On Thursday nearly everyone I knew got them, a few on the Friday.

Can be messy distributing them and trying to ensure the barcode doesn't scan.

It's always later in the week that the situation with tickets becomes clearer, clubs give out tickets Tuesday and Wednesday and some clubs don't give out out their tickets until Thursday.

It happened a few years ago that some hurling final tickets went on public sale, not impossible that will happen again tomorrow or Friday...

That's a wet dream for the touts.

Is the capacity going to be back up at 82,300? Saw that it has been down at around 73,000 because the Nally was closed/RTE's platform up in the corner.

The capacity is capped at 82300 but the combination of seats and terrace is a few thousand more, I remember they used to alternate the difference between seats and terrace for Dublin games as there used to be a full house and still empty seats. I don't know what's going on with the attendances as the ground looked pretty full to me on Sunday but this was called at 73k

As far as I know, Hill 16 hold around 9 thousand and the Nally terrace holds 4 thousand odd. I never realised that what they call the Nally terrace stretches across to behind the goals until I had a ticket for it a couple of years ago.

The time for that sale is annoying if you're working as it's not online.

Probably not, although it does include that corner part where the RTE platform is AFAIK. The Galway football QF was a sellout at something like 73k, think Dublin Kerry was the same. I assume that platform will be gone and it will be back to full attendance if they are selling Nally tickets in Nowlan Park today.

90 for stand. 50 for terrace. Up a tenner from 2019 I think. In Kerry, they're also sticking a tenner extra on all tickets to go towards the team holiday fund. So it will be 100 quid and 60 quid. An expensive game to go to.

Thanks, expensive alright especially if you have a few in the family to bring with you . As a neutral I always try go the hurling final , love the occasion of the day , I will be on the hill/nally if I manage to pick up a ticket, wont be paying 90 euro thats for sure.

I didnt like the fact either that the GAA increased kids ticket prices to 10 euro now for croke park this year., used to be 5 euro for non all Ireland final days.

Yeah, I'd be the same. I'll take a Hill ticket for the hurling if I see one going but not sure I'd stretch to the 90 quid tbh.

Anyone have any ideas about parking within say a 10 minute walk to Croker? We usually just park in Marlborough St multistory in town but my Dad is coming with us Sunday and I'm conscious that he's not able for the walk this time around as he hasn't been well recently and given that it's also due to be 29 degrees. He's thinking of staying at home because of it but any suggestions welcome. We don't have a disabled pass so that's a no go. I know around Drumcondra pretty well so any recommendations would be most welcome. Thank you!
