    Race weekend .

Plenty of teams bringing updates this weekend :

Mercedes and Aston are 2 that definitely are.

Alfa Romero were meant to be but I believe that is on hold now due to cost issues .

Williams have an Upgrade package as well this weekend ( Aero , Floor and Bodywork )

I think the sprint race is next weekend in Austria no?

Yes, it would be the Redbull Ring and Interlagos for the sprint races

My bad ...updated ( Was sure It was a sprint weekend ) ..I even thought it was weird teams bringing updates to sprint weekend as its too risky ..........

I'm hoping both Alpine drivers will score points on Sunday.

After last season I would like to see Max Win followed by Checo and Leclerc.

Yes me too but if its a crazy race and weather effected I would love to see one of the Mclarens win with either Danny boy or Lando.

Hamilton win after the week he has had.

Won't happen, but the reaction here would be funny.

In all seriousness, Max has all the momentum now but I do think that Ferrari is marginally quicker but completely unreliable. Can't see it being anyone other than Max or LeClerc.

Look at those wheels on the McLaren of Lando Norris:

I wouldn't mind having that car in my driveway.

Are you genuinely ruling him out? Not sure why you would be. They have solved the porpoising issue, the car only bounces now. He is the 7 time World champ GOAT, knows how to use copes to his advantage and has a load of stuff to overcome and rise above which should spur him on.

    I'm going for a Hamilton win, Merc 1 2

I can't see past LeClerc and Max fighting it out for the win as per usual. Even without porposiing, Mercedes are still 7 or 8 tenths behind the top two, so they would need a big jump in performance and no improvement from the others to be fighting for a win on pure pace alone.

Ah here. Merc haven’t been anywhere near a win yet, so yeah, it’s fair to relatively rule them out.

Unless something mental happens, not a chance it'll be Mercedes 1-2.

Upgrades on the way and porpoising gone on a track that favours Merc.

    I wouldn't be suprised.

In saying that, I wouldn't at all mind being proven wrong.

Merc are improving but are still too far off the pace. Besides in almost every race Russell out performs Hamilton.

I think you will find that many will diagree that Hamilton was the GOAT. Now that the massive car advantage is gone we can really see who the strogest drivers are.

I think it’s too early to compare Hamilton to Russell.

Nearly all testing over the weekends so far have been conducted on Hamiltions car with Russell benefiting from any test results deemed Improvements.

True. I guess my point is that to win in Silverstone Hamilton would have to beat Russell and that has not worked out so well for him so far this season.

Mercedes: front suspension, sidepod inlet, floor, rearwing

Red Bull: front corner (calliper temperature management), engine cover, floor

Ferrari: engine cover, sidepod undercut revision, rear view mirrors, outboard stay redesign

Aston Martin vanes on top of sidepods, changes to shape of floor fences, changes to geometry of floor edge, revised beam wing and revised rear brake ducts.

Willams front wing ,front corner, sidepod inlet, floor fences , floor body, halo, floor edge, diffuser, engine cover, cooling louvres, rear suspension, rear corner ( Not sure its for both cars , but this list is long and probably should have just said new car :D )

I think I saw that the Williams upgrade will only be put on Albon's car - they will use Latifi's car to compare.

Looks like a good chance of a wet race.

I don't mind the Protest , Vettel will turn up in the middle of it .

As long as it not something stupid like our shame of an Irish Priest running out during an active race .

Well done Lance Stroll. What would F1 do without him? The only exciting bit in the whole session. Also Valtari Bottas tops a rather dull FP1 session.

Great use of the Pedal Cam there when they show it on the left with the main screen still in normal view.
