Yup. Another claim you've stolen off twitter without a thought and the only person backing you up is a flat earther.

    Does that not concern you?

    I've answered your question.

Could you comment on Markus' position and why you've no issue with his support?

Any comment on Buzzer's most recent claim?

Again, why are you posting your arguments here among these silly theories if you believe that your argument is valid and rational?

Why not post it on the medical forum?

    I've answered your question.

Could you comment on Markus' position and why you've no issue with his support?

I've no idea whether or not Markus' believes space flight is fake because I don't stalk the conspiracy theories forum. If he does believe it is fake I disagree with him.

If you are asking me do I believe space flight is fake, the answer is no I do not believe space flight is fake.

Markus has not explicitly supported my argument, but if he did so I would have no issue with his support.

What actually happened was I agreed with Markus' statement that astrofool is an imbecile.

The evidence for this is strong, so I agreed with him. Pretty simple really.

So it doesn't bother or concern you that the only person who is supporting your argument is a guy who believes that all space flight is fake.

    That would concern me.

But as I've said, you're not actually interested in what's true.

So why are you posting your theories here along with the claims of the vaccine secretly causing blood clots and space missions being faked.

Why aren't you posting this in the covid or medical forums?

I've had more success explaining stuff to fanatical flat-earthers than I have with you. You can't (or don't want to) understand straightforward explanations from any posters. No one can help you with that.

If you, a lay-person on a conspiracy theory forum, think you "know more" than the regulators, cool, by all means, take your discovery to newstalk or wherever. But we all know you'll come up with some excuse why you won't.

You have been flanked by a myriad of anti-vaxxers for months, I've never seen you once tackle any of their completely contradictory views. This is because you are an anti-vaxxer (of the contrarian variety), they are on "the same side" as you. Typically someone in your position will make a token effort to tackle one of them to create a pretence that they are somehow objective, or just use the well-worn excuse that "I'm not interested in what they have to say, that's their opinion, etc"

Again, shocking the amount of conspiracy theorists who will declare that they're not interested in discussing conspiracy theories. (Cause they are only interested in spamming their own.)

Have to make a bingo chart on all the weasel tricks/techniques anti-vaxxers use on a regular basis, would be a fun mini-game.

Why aren't you posting this in the covid or medical forums?

For various reasons I have lurked in this thread since it started, contributed to it about 6 months ago, and went back to lurking. The reason I am currently spending a lot of time posting about the efficacy against sever disease in the clinical trials is pretty straightforward.

About 80 odd pages ago I read this post from @snowcat , and agreed with it:

However when the vaccices started to underperform the platform shifted. We had a divergence from the vaccines will protect you (full Stop) to the vaccines will protect you from serious illness and death. (We sort of expected that!).

    I posted in reply:

This is my problem with the vaccines. When the vaccines were first rolled out the clear expectation was that the primary function was to prevent catching Covid.

When it became abundantly clear that this was not working as intended, but they were having good effect in preventing serious illness and death, very few vaccine proponents acknowledged this. It was spun as if the primary function all along was to reduce serious illness and death, and anybody who thought they were taking the vaccine to prevent them getting Covid just didn't understand how vaccines worked.

And 80 pages later I'm still dealing with responses saying that the approvers made it clear from day 1 that the primary function all along was to reduce serious illness and death and I just don't understand how vaccines work.

Which kind of proves my point.

And the politicians only started singing the praises of their vaccine success story once Omicron became the dominant variant earlier this year. How's about that for a coincidence? Yet in Oct-Nov 2021 (7-8 months into the vaccine rollout) we were facing into our 4th lockdown...

Omicron strain defeated Covid - let it not be forgotten.

Dodged the question as per usual.

Why aren't you posting this in the medical or covid forums if you don't believe that your claims are on the same level as what buzzer and marky claim?

Also very telling that you lurked on this thread, but felt no issue with the non stop lies coming from the anti-vaxxer side. You still pretend to not see any...

And is this conspiracy in addition to their conspiracy to fake all space flight?

Again man, you're killing other conspiracy theorist's credibility by posting. Please continue.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,087 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

It's just your personal opinion. Which you keep expressing hundreds of times over. On a conspiracy theory forum. A forum where nutjobs do this for years.

And you seem to take yourself seriously

If you, a lay-person on a conspiracy theory forum, think you "know more" than the regulators, cool, by all means, take your discovery to newstalk or wherever. But we all know you'll come up with some excuse why you won't.

??!! I'm not claiming I have made some sort of breakthrough discovery.

I do not know more than the regulators. They said that no reliable estimates of efficacy against severe disease could be determined because of insufficient data.

And I totally agree with them. That's the point.

It is astrofool who thinks he knows more than them. He believes that a meta-analysis of 9 individual trials from three different regions show that the data on severity was extremely comprehensive and proven in massive trials.

And yet you agree with him, simply because he is on your "side".

Anybody who thinks the veracity of this statement - no reliable estimates of efficacy against severe disease could be determined because of insufficient data - depends on what side you are on is simply reinforcing my original point.

You’ve changed your tune. Your argument was against theregulatory authorities. You said that their data was unreliable. Now you are no longer stating that. So, you have no issue with the regulators, then why the hell are you still arguing?

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,703 ✭✭✭hometruths

I have never said I had an issue with the approvers.

The data on severity available to them at time of approval was insufficient.

I have never said I disagreed with that. Quite the contrary. I agree. It makes total sense why.

It is astrofool who says he knows better than the regulators when he claims the data on severity was extremely comprehensive and proven.

If you are somehow under the impression that I disagreed with the regulators it is because you have believed astrofool, KingMob, DohnJoe etc when they tell me to stop saying I know better than the regulators.

I never said it. It's a horseshit argument to deflect.

Misrepresentation of our arguments as usual.

And still dodging the question about why you are posting here rather than in a medical forum or covid forum.

Remind us again why you're different from Markus or Buzzer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,087 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

The vaccines have been great and they are also really safe.

You sound like you against the vaccines? Are you? If yes, why?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 927 ✭✭✭buzzerxx

    flat earth 33.jpg

Another Lie, i didnt get that from twitter, who is the flat earther? because i delete and block them regularly.

Lol Where did you get it then? How does that make it better than you're just copy and pasting it without looking into it?

And Markus has claimed that all space missions are fake. He keeps dodging the question of whether or not he's a flat earther, but all of his points and claims are consistent with flat eartherism.

And it's not a surprise given the sources of information you copy and paste from, you run into a lot of flat earthers.

They share a lot of your beliefs and thinking.

Covid vaccine was highly effective at:

-Stopping people from eating in resturants

-Stopping people from travelling to certain countries

-Forcing vaccine compliance through coercion and societal rejection and abuse of those who choose not to get vaccinated

    -Earning corporations lots of money

Covid vaccines were not very effective at:

    -Preventing you from catching covid

    -Minimising the spread of covid

-Minimising vaccine side effects such as flu symptoms, stroke and myocarditis in children

But a staunch socialist/fine fail/fine gael/pro any government like yourself would of course deny the above facts despite how true they are.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,087 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

I think we can take that as a yes, you are against the vaccines. You also believe there's e.g. a giant global conspiracy to fake all space travel.

As pointed out many times, most conspiracy theorists here are also anti-vaxxers. That's not a coincidence.

Again man. You deny spaceflight is real.

Do you not get how that's destroyed any chance of anyone except the dumbest conspiracy theorists from taking you seriously?

Not even buzzer takes you seriously.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 513 ✭✭✭The DayDream

I wouldn't say it did but also the vaccines haven't and I feel like if I had to do it again I wouldn't bother with them. I got it during the Omicron wave and just tested positive again. Had 2 jabs also. My mother had 3 just got it for the first time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 927 ✭✭✭buzzerxx

You never answered my question, is there ANY conspiracy theory you believe in?

I did answer your question. I answered it clearly and directly. Here it is again to prevent you from moaning about it:

No, I do not believe in anything I consider to be a conspiracy theory.

You have just dodged my questions:

Where did you get it then? How does that make it better than you're just copy and pasting it without looking into it?

Also, have you blocked Markus now given his beliefs about the flat earth?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,087 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

You may be overlooking the part where these vaccines reduce hospitalizations and deaths from Covid by a significant amount.

I'm guessing this wasn't responded to as they've driven themselves down a stupid cul-de-sac where everyone knows this can be easily proven but they want others to do work so they can resort to pedantic stupidity mode.

I've given the numbers, go and calculate your argument yourself (and to be fair, there is a big gaping hole in all your arguments that you haven't noticed yet, but isn't needed, I gave some evidence for it but as usual, it went way over your head :), all the experts disagree with you for reasons detailed already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 927 ✭✭✭buzzerxx

''No, I do not believe in anything I consider to be a conspiracy theory.''

Then you are either a deluded Fool living in LaLa Land, A Troll, suffer with Cognitive Dissonance or a paid shill. I didn't see your answer to my question because i don't be on here every hour of every day like you are.

''Where did you get it then?''

    Get what?

''Also, have you blocked Markus now given his beliefs about the flat earth?''

Show me where he promotes that psyop and i will.

And I guess whatever source you pulled that from neglected to answer the age old question of whether those who died - died from covid or just so happened to catch covid while on their deathbeds.. (How dare I ask such an insensitive and pertinent question!!)

As a man who falls into the 0-65 age group, I am very much satisfied, based on this graph, that I do not need a covid vaccine or 7 boosters so thank you for reinforcing my beliefs
