Was in the Henry Street branch last week. Just in case anyone was expecting the level of cheapness of painkillers you can see in the UK, the cheapest I could see was 12 Pfizer, at €1.49. I believe this is the same price as Tesco.

I checked out the price of a few items in Chemist Warehouse on Henry Street last weekend. All items seemed to be slightly discounted from the RRP but most were available elsewhere for cheaper. I wasn't overly impressed. Huge range of items.

For example, Alforex was 30 EUR in Chemist Warehouse but you can get it for 24 EUR elsewhere.

I have not compared their prescription prices but I would be surprised if they price beat Pure Pharmacy.

They'll start ratcheting up, they are running the dispensary at a loss at the moment to drive in regulars. All well and good but if your local pharmacy closes its a problem for the area.

I live in an area that lost its pharmacy during covid. Me having to drive around the place to get meds for elderly neighbours was a PITA.

Dun Laoghaire opening soon and I'm sure more will follow.

Like many of these style of formats they scream very loudly on prices and many people just assume they are cheaper on everything, so you need eyes open and wits with you to get the value.

was in the store in Dublin and I could not see the bargains must things I would call the normal prices,

the shop reminded me of a shop I was in before in japon called don quijote, where the offers and discounts where so in your face however don quijote is something else ha, sex toys next to noodles mad place also sold designer hand bags, bikes you name it also had proper discounts in it on say medical stuff

I think healthmail accounts can only receive from other healthmail accounts (other pharmacies,doctors etc)

Did you ever find a solution to this please?

Or does anyone have a working email address for these folks?

Thanks, they responded to my message sent to that email with cost details. Bizarre that they post the wrong email address for consumers on their website.

Prices seem noticeably better than Healthwave, my previous favourite, who seem to have gone up considerably this year.

I often stick up in the north if I’m up. It’s pathetic how we have such a strong g pharma industry here but yet we still have parasites making a killing
