There was massive outrage when AEW didn't stop the Matt hardy/Sami Guevara or Lance archer/ Eddie Kingston matches, so once again, swing and a miss.

Respect to Cody for performing while injured but this seems to be a recurring thing with Cody where he puts himself in a situation that could be harmful to him even when it probably isn't necessary. Like going through the burning table in AEW and getting himself burned, or doing diving moonsaults off the top of steel cages and sometimes missing those moonsaults and hurting himself.

And I was just saying in teh gaming forum about "insiders" saying "I know something you don't know" and never expanding on it. Either tell the story or say nothing. Since when did Meltzer shy away from starting a can of worms? Don't even think that's a saying.

Let's see how AEW handles this, not sure they've had to handle a case like this before.

I'm sure plenty of people are going to be questioning his sobriety at that WWE house show too as much as they defended it. I'd feel bad for Matt for bringing his brother in but at a certain point it feels like he enables him. The guy needs help.

fcuk getting him off tv and into rehab, keep him off the bloody road before he has his own 'sunny' day and kills someone.

Him being an addict and struggling is one thing. It's an entirely different thing for him to get behind the wheel as often as he does, it's going to end badly sooner or later. I've seen people talk about what he's put his body through since he got to AEW as well. Whether that's lead to self-medicating or it pre-dates that who knows. Again any sympathy I would have for him is thrown away once he drives under the influence.

He's also set meant to have a match for Triplemania this Saturday in Mexico.

EDIT - TMZ has released the Dashcam footage and it's not great. He struggles to bring the car to a full stop and 3 officers have guns pointed out him at that point. He is unable to do the sobriety tests. He's wearing a Jacksonville Jaguars to add insult to injury about TK. Another thing I wondered and I've seen others say the same is that he says he has a doctor's appointment for a brain scan.

Now maybe that's just him being drunk and talking nonsense but if that's true, why was he booked in a ladder match? Some questions should be asked about this. Think he appears before a judge this afternoon.

What blew my mind is looking at the dashcam footage and seeing how busy the road he was pulled over on is. An absolute miracle nobody was hurt.
