Not sure if it's me struggling with the new search option or...

Can anyone recommend any positive experiences getting an EV charging point installed? Car was built and has left the factory so should be in the country in some 4-5 weeks so need to sort the charger. There's so many websites that it's' easy to get lost with everything

    Hi

I used these guys to fit my charger 2 years ago, here in Naas - ECARINFRA (search ecarinfra, I don't post much so Boards wont let me post a link)

I can highly recommend them, they did the install in about half a day, very neat and no issues since - we use it multiple time a day as we have a PHEV so needs regular topping up. They have a good few options for chargers also and are certified so you can avail of the grant, they will also provide the paperwork you need for the grant. We had to pay full amount up front to them (approx. €950) and then apply for grant with the SAEI after the install.

Along with the paper work for the installation and testing/certification of the charger, you also need to have your car to avail of the grant with SAEI, they ask for pictures and the Reg number and car details as not all cars qualify - esp. some PHEVS (this may have changed but this was our experience...)

    Hope that helps

    Hi all

Dose anyone know where is the Irish rail feeder bus parked nowadays for pick up at the station? I have not used the service for last two years and they used to parked at the bus stop at Sallins rd.

It starts at poplar square outside Eir and then makes its way past small Tesco out the Blessington road, up past hazelmere, back down past the hospital, down past SuperValu, Main Street, post office and then out the Sallins Rd

Thanks - but where is the Irish rail feeder bus parked nowadays for pick up at the station? is the same stop for 139 just after the bridge ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,309 ✭✭✭pad199207

Yeah it picks up at that stop at 16:00, 16:55, 18:00, 18:30 and 19:00.

Other times it picks up in the station car park itself

Big party on in the town on Sunday. Main Street closed. Good weather. Music. Happy days. Pity I'm working though. :-(

Hi, I know this has been asked previously but I'm not sure if anyone had any details so I'll ask again.

Does anyone have contact details for or know how to make contact with Joe Cassidy as referenced in this newspaper article - https://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/joe-cassidy-i-use-my-sixth-sense-to-help-heal-others-26854576.html

Thanks in advance for any info.

Is there anywhere close to Naas/Sallins where you can hire bikes for cycling along the canals? I can see there is one in Maynooth but think it would be something that would be great to have locally.

Barge trip.ie in sallins have opened an office beside 2 cooks. There was talk of them renting bikes but not if it has started yet.

A number of cars broken into over the last week in Clane, parked in residential roads, between midnight and 7am - these were inadvertently left unlocked by their owners- some items stolen - obviously locking your car prevents this happening but we all forget sometimes - well I do anyway.

The MO is for a few lads to walk into an estate and try every car door, with one of their mates following closely in a car- when all cars are tried, they jump into the mates car and on to the next estate.

small amounts of cash and sunglasses and other small value items appear to be the main spoils unless you’ve inadvertently left your phone in the car.

Also have heard recently of cars inadvertently unlocked for just a few mins in Clane village also robbed of items.

There were young lads causing issues in Castle Farm and Whitehorn yesterday afternoon

2 guys tried to break into a house and another guy was kicking a front door.

Everything is caught on video from video doorbells including their faces so I’m guessing they will be easily recognisable.

the videos were shared within our estates WhatsApp group

Isn't there a few of the kinahan cartel lads living down there in Castle Farm, wonder if it's related to that.

A friend may be looking for temp accommodation for his family of 5 while they change house. Probably 2-3 months. Can be any size. If anyone knows anyone that could accommodate or has a vacant property then pm. Cheers.
