Thinking of going wireless on headphones, a few questions!

Friends,

Thinking of investing in wireless headphones. A few questions ,I don't keep up with this tech at all , don't laugh!

Will I be able to use my current non bluetooth MP3 player with its audio Jack and a set of wireless headphones ? I mean do these headphones come with some sort of connection that goes into the audio jack on a device that transmits signal to the headphones ? If not do these exist and can they be purchased?

My laptop "has bluetooth" as far as I can tell . I can add bluetooth devices somehow and it has that bluetooth icon the blue background with the white symbol on the task bar.

So would I be able to use the laptop with the wireless headphones? , and stupid question number 3 will I have to have Internet connection to do so or is this entirely independent of that?

They don't come with a transmitter but you should be able to buy a transmitter to use with the mp3 player.

It will work with your laptop & you don't need Internet.

Wireless headphones will work with the laptop but not the mp3 player.

You can get a Bluetooth adapter for the mp3 player if you want

Do you lose any sound quality with wireless or is it just as good?

You wont loose any sound quallity - Given you are listening to Mp3 which has allready been very compressed you wont notice any difference

There are some great quality wireless earphones on the market now, so you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a good sounding pair.

I use Samsung Buds myself and find them excellent.

I got the Anker Liberty 3 Pro buds this week and they seem very good so far. The multipoint connection is very handy. €170, which is the most I have ever paid for earbuds.

The adapters listed above are only for receiving BT signals.

You need a BT transmitter to plug into your MP3 player.
