Coastal Cruising Guide / Charts

Hi Folks, can anyone recommend any of the above and a source please?

Focusing on the NW coast, Galway to North Donegal but usually in and around Donegal Bay.

Will be using Navionics but want to utilise an up to date guide and chart too.

Thanks for any suggestions and help !

Your best bet would probably be the Western Almanac and then the local Imray charts for that area;

Imray C53 & C54 would cover you;

All available on Amazon or various online bookshops..

The Irish Cruising Club has a book 'Guide to the South and West Coasts of Ireland (+/-) that is invaluable as it has photos, anchorages, and local info. on shops, fuel, etc.

I'd also highly recommend eOceanic as it has tons of information on Ireland and its ports & anchorages;

Thanks folks, loads of great advice given.

I've ordered the ICC guide to the South & West Coasts and an Imray chart covering Sligo to Rathlin which'll cover us for this summer.
