Where to try/get cycling glasses

I bought Oakley Sutros last year and I love them. They're quite large so they cover a good portion of your face and definitely help against wind and insects. They're not cheap tho, I'd try them on before buying. Couple of bike shops have them.

I'd second trying the Oakleys - I always went for the cheapest sunglasses (starting with Lidl and most recently Galibier which are 40 euro-ish). I got a present of a pair of Oakley Jawbreakers a few months ago and I love them. They just go on at the start of the ride and I forget I am wearing them until getting back home. Worth the extra cost in my experience

I had the same problem. Eyes would stream when cycling no matter what sort of weather and then that evening would be really sore as a result. Tried taking antihistamine but only helped a small bit

After a bit of research I found these glasses and ordered them. They are excellent and solved the problem. They have a insertable cup that clicks into the inside and creates a seal around the eyes but can still breathe although they steam up a small bit when climbing but can just drop them down the nose for a few second and put back on for a descent when needed

I got the basic one as they went straight in the bin as needed my own lenses fitted.

The company I bought from couldnt make the lense to my prescription level and neither would Specsavers, but the former recommend a company that could. So I to buy the glasses shipped to me. Then send them back to a UK company who made and fitted my lenses and shipped back to me. I had to include my spare glasses so the lense company could get my pupil distance diameter as Specsavers did not measure on my last visit.

All and all a bit of rigmarole but defo worth it in the end as they do the job I needed them to do perfectly.

and company called Reglaze direct made the lenses to my order. I was sceptical about buying glasses from a non bricks and mortar place, but decided to take the risk and it worked out well.

There is a chap in adverts selling fake jawbreakers (and others) for a tender plus postage. I have a few pairs from him and they have always worked well.

I lose my sunnies like clockwork (mtb not road) so can't bring my self to spend big loot.
