I notice that the sports reporter rte sent out for the fight, was even talking up a rematch in Croke Park literally a few hours after she had won.

Not a mention of the gaa or anything. He was deciding himself that it would be on. Because big events at Croker always happen without any issue.

why not have the rematch in Bray itself in the Carlisle Grounds with temporary terraces put in?? well?

I'd be surprised if a) this rematch happens this year and b) it's in croke park.

There are a lot of people who need to be brought on board least of all the insurers who all have refused to cover pro boxing events since the regency hotel murders. While KT will bring a different crowd, they will need time to calculate the risk. Secondly, Croke parks calendar is completely booked up for 2022, and a winter bout there would be awful.

Secondly, croke park is a terrible venue for something like a boxing match. Up in the gods in the Cusack stand you'd be as well at home watching it as all you will see are specks moving about or end up watching on the big screen. Aviva, while not perfect would have the stands closer to the action. I'm not convinced either that there is enough interest in pro boxing to fill the likes of croke park so a smaller venue might be preferable. 3 arena would be perfect tbh from a spectator pov.
