That's sensational from Lowe. Offloaded when held off the ground.

Great power from Murray to get over the line.

That is class from both Lowe and Murray.

looking forward to watching nigel owens on youtube after this, he's very honest in his assessments of ref's decisions.

    good man murray!

When we start playing we'll be a serious team!

    BPs galore playing mediocre.

Nice to get the bonus point right at the death. That's a clean sweep of bonus points.

    Nice.

We haven't been great, but when you can win with a BP and keep a team to one score while not playing well, there's less cause for complaint than there will inevitably be on here because we didn't deliver a champagne performance.

Presumable murray strongly considered box kicking once lowe gave him the offload, but then because he has no wingers to chase the kick he decided to dot down

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,042 ✭✭✭Carfacemandog

Credit to Ben White as well, masterstroke from him to work Wayne Barnes into a corner like that and leave him with no excuses. Much appreciated.

That’s something Murray always gives you, strength with the ball and in the tackle. He’s as strong as most centres.

a couple of years back, we'd be delighted with the triple crown. shows how far we have come in the last 20 years

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,731 ✭✭✭dmc17

Did the interviewer just call him Dan Sheridan? 😅

  • Registered Users Posts: 469 ✭✭ax530

Lowe & Murray great finish glad the BP sorted commentators can talk about something else now

    Great to see Sexton reaction

    Maybe champions yet

Rob Kearney just said we are holding Ireland to a very high level, judging em too high

you never see ex players criticise Ireland , Shane Horgan the same so too heaslip ferris and Flannery the same

thank god for Eddie and Matt Williams

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,924 ✭✭✭TRC10

We don't deserve to be winning any championships after that

    Dreadful

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,541 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

To me the entire campaign was a success, but the decision in France to take 3 instead of 7 will be the difference between a good campaign and a great one and needs to be learned from.

Well done, a good tournament for ireland, sheehan, JGP, lowe, keenan, hansen all took their chances with both hands. Squad depth added to and attacking issues long forgotten.

    Job done

Congrats Ireland, nice to lift the shield and another cup but can't think of the name

Very hard to say this but 'come on England'

Points on the board say we do, if France lose.

performance discussions are another thing entirely.

Now a nil all draw in France will make the day coz I can't cheer for England ever.

That being Tommy Bowe. Worst former player type reporter person

    nice celebrations here

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,061 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Glad to see Ryan out on the pitch for the celebrations.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,949 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

"You must be delighted with your own team's performance" says Tommy Bowe to Sexton

Sexton responds with a look like he has ten heads.

Tommy should stick to the 'how to make your foo foo smell good with just ingredients from Mr Price' on morning telly.

    A terrible rugby presenter. Terrible.

    Jesus christ.

Why do you watch something that makes you so angry and unhappy?

Plenty of reasons to be happy if you only wanted to see them but you actively want us to fail

    It is bizarre.

We didn't play fantastically over the course of the championship yet we have 21 points and 24 tries scored. That's a reason to be positive. Plenty to work on and improve but what hamr. Preferable to cruising to a championship only to **** the bed next year.
