    Finally finished work for the week and heading out tomorrow night with the Mrs on our first date night out of the house (ie by ourselves) in about a year... looking forward to it immensely.

    Our two turned 11 in January!! I can categorically state that it felt less than half that. I like to think its because they brought so much love & fun with them when they arrived and its fuelled us into overdrive ever since!!

    Like that expression @Loughc, is so true. Some days seems to last for ever and the year is gone in the blink of an eye!

    What a day, glad to turn the PC off and relax into the weekend.

    Another working week done, and a short week to come next week too before a nice 4 day break... hoep everyone has a nice weekend.

    May even crack open a Guinness or 2 over the weekend with Paddy FM on in the background for good measure!!

    Woke up in great form, out early, down to dunnes for the weekly grocery shop, arrive at 7.30 to see they've changed the opening hours from 7.30am to 8.00am....a 30 minute wait I could have had in bed instead 😟

    Still a good reason to be cheerful @DvB, up and at it in good form is great, especially at the weekend.

    I on the other hand must have needed it because I went into a really deep sleep and only woke at 10:30 this morning, woke up in good form also and it's an absolutely beautiful morning here.

    Glorious morning out there now.

    Although I'm in the office its nice to be able to sit beside an open window for a change and not feel a cool draught.

    Its also hump day & for us in here, payday too! Bank holiday w/e to come so looking at the positives to alleviate the work stress where possible!

    A sunny Friday morning of a long weekend has put a 'pep in my step' :)

    Started early so going to try and finish up early and make the most of the sun/long weekend. Have a few things on however will be nice to catch up with some extended family and also have some family time with the kids.

    This time tomorrow, myself & Mr. CL will be en route to a hotel WITHOUT the children 🎉🎉🎉 It's been almost two years since we had a night away on our own & I am so ready for it! I love being Mammy but man, do I need a break! I don't know what I'm more excited about...the prospect of a full nights sleep or a hot dinner 😃
