Neighbours [News, Spoilers and Discussion]

I did wonder if that was behind her sudden departure, I'm guessing that IF that is the reason she was let go, then it may have taken time to have some kind of enquiry into what had been alleged and that's why it's taken so long. Or it may have been something else entirely, we don't know. She hasn't featured as much in recent storylines but was definitely a main character for most of her tenure.

Sad news, kinda surprised no one picked it up, will be sorry to see it go, but, probably won't be the last of the main soap's to finish up. Be surprised if more than 1 or 2 of the main soaps are still going in 10 years time. I think Coronation Street and Emmerdale are both changing timeslots for the first time in decades, will be interesting to see how that works out, but, never a good sign when tv channels start moving a program around the schedule. I wonder will we see any former stars show up on Neighbours before it ends in June.

Stefan Dennis was interviewed on Radio Ulster a couple of days back and said that they are trying to get some of the early characters back for the final episode(s). He didn't rule out the likes of Kylie making a brief return.

It might not seem like much, but, changing the schedule even by just a half hour, makes a huge difference, most people who watch the soap's are creatures of habit and a lot roll from one soap to the next every evening, up til now there's been no real clash bar the odd episode, now viewers will be forced to make a choice each evening, so one is likely to suffer more and I think you're right it'll affect Emmerdale more.

What has happened Karl Kennedy's hair recently, it's gone very thin and patchy all of a sudden, is Alan Fletcher ok in real life?

Would anyone under 40 actually care about Kylie Minogue returning? What age do they think the viewers are? I don't think I've even watched an episode that she was in. I would prefer to see someone like Boyd Hoyland return.

From that list, Kyle & Roxy have just left and Ned hasn't even left yet, hardly worth counting those as returning characters. I wonder will there be an actual plot line to bring them all back or just all brought together for the farewell episode. The only plotline I could think of that might bring most of these characters back would be something to do with Paul Robinson- possibly Paul dies and they all come back for his funeral in the last episode.
