Denial is not just a river in Egypt..

If you had an ounce of courage you'd post one example, you know you're lying...you're incapable of dealing with points so you engage in lies...the worst type of poster on sites like this...

I'd say there's very few people who have been effected by Russian propaganda it's not very readily available, most of the propaganda and disinformation people in Ireland will get is Western not Russian.

And yet we have people with soft brains on this thread posting that the Crimea referendum, conducted under the barrell of a gun in wartime conditions was a legit ballot.

Even when presented with accidentally leaked evidence from the Russian government that it was complete hogwash, roundly boycotted, and only 15 percent of the population voted for Russian sovereignty of the peninsula.

Fact is, some people have soft brain matter and are liable to have their brains hijacked by very basic disinformation and communication techniques.

It's all over this thread. Several posters acting like edgelords thinking they know something the rest of the world doesn't when all they are is useful idiots parroting gloop concocted far away from their box room in ballymackbackwards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

    Seems boards proves you wrong....

Russia didn't invade Ukraine and Crimea

Russia didn't shoot down flight MH17 over ukraine,

There are no Russian troops in Ukraine,

The is no evidence Russia has 100,000 + Russian troops on Ukraines border

    Nato had surrounded Russia.

Nato is preparing to invade Russia.

Have i missed anything thats been posted by Irish people on boards ???.

    I googled.

Jeez listening to Boney M makes me feel real old. Good tune though.

You seem to be a bit of an expert at making up sh!t yourself, you spend most of your time here ignoring what people actually post and then make up stuff they didn't post....you never got back to me on your denial of the 750 US bases in 80 countries....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

I know, it's like the lads arguing that US imperialism are cuddly little chaps helping struggling countries, defending human rights etc..etc...imagine being that ignorant!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Which poster in this thread argued that or anything resembling it? Names and post numbers please.

We have plenty of examples of soft brain matter posters parroting Putinite gloop because they landed on RT last night flicking through their Sky box.

None of the examples of what you claim people posted.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,603 ✭✭✭Elmer Blooker

My humble apologies for interrupting your thread with my nefarious opinion but it appears that the ‘Russian propaganda’ was in fact correct as there was no invasion of Ukraine and there isn’t going to be one.

PS. Is RT available in Ireland as I don’t have it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Two Moscow controlled puppet states and the illegal annexation of a third component part of Ukraine and there's no invasion am I right?

Here Fudd, can I have your bank account and pin number there? I just want to transfer you some money.

At the risk of an abusive post accusing me of making up ****, I have looked at lists of US bases abroad: there may be more than 750, but the overwhelming majority are there with the consent of democratically elected governments. A few might be problematic to some, such as bases in Iraq, Niger or at Guantanamo.

However this thread is about Europe, or more specifically Ukraine. In what European countries is the USA an unwanted , occupying force? The big thing about central and eastern Europe is that there used to be lots of Russian bases in places like East Germany, and Russian-inspired alliances with Poland, the GDR, Czeckoslovakia etc despite several popular uprisings put down by Russian tanks. Nato membership by these countries is with the consent (and indeed often enthusiastic support) of democratically elected governments.

Neither Russia nor its apologists seem to be able of willing to come to terms with some obvious historical facts.

So according to some there are no Russian soldiers in Ukraine....

Thanks for the offer Oscar but I’m already on the Kremlin pay roll, ask General Gatling.

Voting for America is like voting in a general election. You're just voting for the least worst option. America is far from great but anyone thinking Russia is better needs their head examined.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

Even the Ukrainians telling the West to calm down...The US are really being shown up here! 🤣

Media hoax. Right. So war material being transported from Siberia en masse to within striking distance of Kyiv following 15000 dead in 2014 is a big old hoot conspired by CNN.

Countries supplying defensive equipment to Ukraine have obviously been taken in by the New York Times and Washington post.

They best ask for the javelin missiles back because box-room Bart on boards thinks he knows more than security experts of the Western world.

Get out for some air because you're contributions suggest a lack of oxygen to certain parts of your brain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

Any news on a date for the invasion yet? You're the man in the know is it still 'imminent', or is it 'next month' as Biden suggests?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Like yourself I don't quite have a hotline to the Kremlin (though you seem to be hugely au-fait with why there's a military concentration, and it's all a big misunderstanding).

I suppose you want to chalk it up to media hoax as well eh?

It's astonishing what you can learn from a box room in a provincial Ireland. Ye lads are wasted where you are, because you could teach Western Military Intelligence a thing or two according to yourselves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

The confidence with which these Nostradamuses are making these predictions, the lazer accurate reading of Russian armed forces intentions.

I'm just amazed that we have such riches of post-Soviet security and geo-political experts here on boards.

I'm still waiting on the credentials as to how they know so much, but I'm sure if they forward their CVs to the Royal College of Defense Studies in London, they'll get a job teaching aMEriCan ImpErialIsm and RUSsoPhObe MEdia HoAX 101 modules in an instant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

Well you're the lad posting about weapon movements etc...I thought you'd have some insights on a date for the 'imminent' invasion.

I've made no comments on military intelligence at all, in fact I've made very little comment on the specifics and very little in comparison to you.

I've focused far more on the macro geopolitical realities of what's going on and the inter imperial rivalry being played out here. You on the other hand seem incapable of any sort of objectivity instead engaging in lazy, simplistic binary analysis.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

Speaking of credentials, what are yours exactly?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭Yurt2

Greater than yours I'm confident and as is obvious from our respective contributions to the thread.

I put it up to you earlier. Go on, you were sneering at someone who has spent a good deal of time in Russia working. What's your ace in the hole talking about all things post-Soviet relative to him?

Put it on the table, we're all dying to know where you source all your insights and what it is the source of your predictive powers? It's a genuine source of fascination so please...in your own time...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

Indeed but back to my question, what are your credentials?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,279 ✭✭✭MFPM

So you've no credentials, you've travel experience, that wasn't so hard to admit, was it?

You seem very confused about discussion boards like this, they are forums for people to voice opinions , one hopes those opinions are informed by research, analysis and critical thought, many are but many are not, I put myself in the latter category...

Russia attacked our health service during a pandemic.

Yet here you are saying they are not acting aggressively. I mean this is basic stuff. Really really really basic stuff.

Why would any actual irish person defend a nation that attacks a neutral countries health system during a global pandemic.

    Go... You. Go... Il wait.
