IBAN Different on Statement than App / Generator

Hi there,

Our local BOI brach closed recently. My daughters account was there and today she needed to provide her IBAN for an application. Her most recent BOI statement showed the IBAN but it was different to the one shown on her BOI app. Putting her account details into the IBAN generator on the BOI site generates the same IBAN as the app.

So I am just concerned that the wrong IBAN was provided? Does the IBAN change when the branch closes? How can the online statement show one IBAN and the online app show a different one.

The IBAN on her 365 online would be the best one to follow as the NSC (sort code) within the IBAN may update if a branch is closed or has been merged with another Bank of Ireland branch.
