I haven't seen The Suicide Squad yet. I know Peacemaker was included in it.

This trailer for the Peacemaker tv show from the DC FanDome event was just released.

Doesn't look to have any spoilers in it. I don't know if it's a prequel or a sequel.

Checked wiki for the basic details of the show and it does have a bit of a spoiler for The Suicide Squad..

"Set after the events of The Suicide Squad (2021), the series explores the origins of Peacemaker and his subsequent missions."

and now I know it's a sequel.. I guess he survives The Suicide Squad! 🙂

It won't be Disney anyway as it's DC comics but it could come to Netflix. Hard to say as Doom Patrol is on Starz Play in UK

Really enjoyed the suicide squad so was hopeful for this, I have only watched episode one, but what an absolute riot! Those opening titles are genius.

John Cena very very good in the first 2 episodes will give number 3 a watch later today, his dad is one bad Mutha Trucker the language in the show is off the charts not something I expected to ever see on TV again.

Definitely 1m times better than The Suicide Squad, Cena is a good bad guy given the chance with this he will be a very good DC antagonist.

The botched job on the foot was horrific!

All the post-credits scenes on all of the episodes so far seem to be just to add a joke. Don't think I've noticed any can't-be-missed to them... but anyway.. there's post-credits scenes on all the first three episodes in case anyone missed em.

Looks like all the episodes were written by Gunn so I'm guessing season one is a fully wrapped story.
