    Great pick up and score.

Great finish from Henshaw because that was an awful, awful pass from McGrath.

What a finish from Henshaw from a shocker of a pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,473 ✭✭✭crisco10

Well that was incredible reactions from henshaw.

That's a quality bit of skill to score there, pick up like that and score, great stuff.

How has Henshaw picked that up? Incredible.

Great break by Penny to start it all off as well.

Frawley was a mile offside there.

Excellent by Henshaw. You would have been happy with him just reclaiming that pass. Type of thing BOD used to do.

And another big moment from henshaw, albeit with a lucky offside not being called

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,383 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    McGrath is dreadful.

This game reminds me of Leinster from a few years ago where they couldn't clear out a ruck.

    Thought we'd got past that.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

He was nowhere near playing the ball nor was he supporting his own weight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,214 ✭✭✭randomname2005

Didn't check sub scrum half. Has to be better than McGrath

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,473 ✭✭✭crisco10

No interest in playing the ball. Other refs would have asked for an attempt to lift.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,214 ✭✭✭randomname2005

If it was the macrae penalty a little bit ago, Leinster player tried squeeze ball, didn't get it clear quick enough

When you consider how much Murphy has let go at the ruck, you'd think Leinster would pile a few more players in there. Spreading men across the line normally works well, but Ulster have scouted that and playing pick and goes near the base.

Not sure I've ever seen so many holding on penalties in 60 mins of rugby.

Connors has been excellent since coming on.

    Ahhh harry

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,214 ✭✭✭randomname2005

Did Murphy even give him a chance to let go?

I honestly don't understand Frank Murphy.

He told Deegan to drop the leg, but never gave an opportunity for him to do it before penalising him.

Honestly doesn't really mean much as Harry Byrne never should have kicked on the full in the first place.

And we'd posters on here looking him to start the autumn nation games.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

Yes he did. Max needed to get out of there altogether.

If you're told to let go of anything in a maul, you should be getting out of there altogether imo. The ref is just waiting to penalise you if you're infringing. Max wasn't impacting anything being where he was anyway. The leg was in the air for 3/4 seconds after the instruction was given.

There's no control from McCarthy at 9. He's playing at 100 mph and not giving his forwards the chance to reload and make yards in the carry.

That's some excellent discipline from Ulster in defense, huge.

McCarthy’s passing is just as bad as McGrath’s tonight.

Harry Byrne having a nightmare appearance here. Error after error.

Just came on to say that the referee has been horrendous. Ulster have been offside at the ruck all night.

Now he hasn't been one-sided but he misses so much.
