I see Fiorentina beat Milan 4-3 for Milan's first defeat of the season. Anyone watch it? Looking forward to the higlights. Vlahovic got a brace, as did Ibrahimovic. Napoli could extend their lead if they win tomorrow, but they're away to Inter. That looks another cracking game in the making.

Milan were pretty poor and we're 3-0 down at one stage before getting on top and bringing it back to 3-2 late on. Tatu had an awful fumble for the first goal

Looking forward to the Napoli game after. Great result for the viola last night. A win against a big team was coming to be fair. They've been good in the matches against the top teams but just haven't been able to sustain it for a full 90. Italiano doing a great job.

Was looking at the highlights of Sassuolo's draw with Cagliari. Keita Balde scored a fantastic goal.

Great finish by Zielinski to give Napoli the lead at the San Siro.

1-1. Calhanoglu levels from the spot after Koulibaly's handball. This is a fun game.

2-1 Inter. Perisic's header turns the game around just before half-time. Big second half coming up.

Osimhen subbed with a nasty facial injury after a clash of heads.

3-1 Inter. Lovely finish by Lautaro. Looks like Inter are dragging themselves into the title race.

3-2. Peach of a strike from Mertens. Game on.

Rui nearly equalises but Handanovic makes a great stop.

Mertens blazes over. Think that's it for Napoli.

Full-time. Napoli join Milan in having their first Serie A defeat of the season. Great action this weekend.

You just knew Napoli would lose the way this title race has been so far

This is a master class by Jose

What a sub to bring on.

Also delighted to see Genoa lose, what a gutless and negative match by them, your playing at home but yet you play like that!! You deserve everything you get

I never thought I would see the phrases "masterclass by Jose" and the opposition deserving to lose for being ultra negative in the same match report

Hadn't realised Shevchenko had taken over Genoa

Big game kicking off at 5 as Juve host Atalanta. BT Sport coverage from 5:15pm. Demiral starts against his old side.

Speaking of Juve, anyone watch Juventus: All or Nothing yet on Amazon Prime? I caught the first episode and it's okay enough. I've still to get to the ones when things start to go pear-shaped.

1-0 Atalanta. What a finish by Zapata.

Full-time and Atalanta win it by a goal. Dybala hit the crossbar with a free near the end. Great win for Gasperini and the commentator said it was Atalanta's first win in Turin over Juve in Serie A since 1989.

Sarri having a nightmare on his return to Naples. Gorgeous strike by Mertens to give Napoli a 3-0 lead inside thirty minutes over Lazio.

Napoli going 3 points clear at the top after Milan lost 3-1 at home to Sassuolo earlier.

4-0. Ruiz with a great strike. Napoli have been great this evening.

    That's some win against Lazio.

I half expected Napoli to lose seeing as Milan did.

Hat-trick for Pasalic this evening in Atalanta's 4-0 win over Venezia. He's in the form of his life.

Vlahovic grabbed another goal as Fiorentina beat Sampdoria.

Sassuolo doing a bit of damage to the top of the table in the last few days.

Another loss for yesterday days man against bologna. He must be on borrowed time.

Inter the big winners these last few days.

Roma are 6 points off 4th, which is hardly grounds for a change of manager. Roma vs Inter will be fun at the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,374 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

I don't see what other manager would have them shooting up the table either

    That's Sarri gone anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,374 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

    Maybe.

But looking at the table, with the exception of Bologna and maybe Fiorentina I don't see any reason why Lazio should be higher than they are.

Scrapping for a EL place is about as good as they should expect

    Lazio.......what a crazy game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

The highlights are up on the official YouTube channel and are well worth checking out. One of the games of the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,374 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

Just saw the highlights. Some crazy goals and especially love the second one and the poor lad looks wrecked from the run.

Speaking of crazy the fairytale of Jr. Messias continues with 2 goals against Genoa on his first start for Milan.

Was getting paid in beer playing Div 7 back in Brazil before he left for Italy to polish bricks

Roma getting outclassed by Inter. 3-0 down at home after 38 minutes. Dzeko has scored against his former side to rub salt into the wounds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,059 ✭✭✭Smell the glove

Like I said earlier, Mourinho on borrowed time. A fraud.

He's managing a side that finished 7th last season. They're not going to sack him this season if he improves on that position.
