Good Beer Garden for a Birthday Gathering Recommendation

Hi, guys,

Wondering if anyone can maybe help, have a big birthday coming up and looking for an outdoor venue, 2 tables x 10 would be needed.

Tried Courtyard Soberlane & Fionnbarras, they are not taking bookings.

Deep South, Tom Barrys and Crawford & Co, left messages

Douglas is would be last option as it is a bit far out, I know johno's are food outdoors

Does anyone know where they are taking bookings for outdoors? for that many people? I have spent the last 18 months drinking in my kitchen would like a change for the birthday haha.

It is outdoors as there are mixed vax status people attending and others with elderly parents etc that are nervous of crowded pubs.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Bierhaus? Might not suit your needs - craft beer and more expensive than other buds. No food, but I believe they're cool with people ordering food from the chipper next door at least.

I think you might struggle to find a place large enough, and with tables flexible enough for 2 tables of 10, and who are taking bookings.

Coughlan's is one pub with a reasonably-sized beer garden you missed. Not sure if they do bookings. There's also Gaia off Barrack St. (newish, so might not be as busy as others?) Rearden's have a big area, so might be able to fit you all, but might be too busy.

Might have to get a bit inventive! Could maybe try getting on to places on the Lapp's Quay boardwalk (Clayton hotel / Tequila Jacks)? Or the Dean has a large seated area outside which is lightly used, could ask them if you could block-book it and get table service?

Goldbergs have a courtyard inside but that would hardly fit 20 imo.

They have tables outside on the path and sometimes use the parking bays (at least they did in the summer)

Managed to get Tom Barrys, outdoors.. delighted .

Dwyers, Clancys, Reardons, Crawford & Co. All booked out.

Fran Well need certs.

Thought Id add for anyone else searching for similar!

OP says in one post (new Boards doesn't allow me to link it, gr) that Fran Well are insisting on vax certs for their outdoor areas as the bar is inside.
