Adhesive for sticking down metal floor joiners?

Can anyone recommend an adhesive that would work for sticking down a metal floor joiner thingy please? It's like this one https://www.woodfloorwarehouse.ie/gold-cover-900mm The original adhesive has failed. Laminate floor one one side, tiles on the other. I've tried "No more nails" but it didn't work.

Tec 7 will do the job

Surprised to hear n.m.n didn't do the job, Were both surfaces clean, dry and free from dust?
