Australia bowled well enough but they made hard work of the chase, Warner is still out of form, not the IPL version of Maxwell though it's the first match. Agree with you though, it will be a surprise if either are in the semis though given how the WI are playing today, you never know.

west Indies might as well throw the kitchen sink at it... as they are now prodding and blocking they’ll be lucky to get 80 runs on the board...

leaving a RRR of 4 or less. Not competitive.

England caught very well. WI were such a shambles it's hard to make a judgement on the bowling. I mean, the second over of spin rarely works never mind Moeen bowling his four in a row.

Good result for England. Made a meal of it for sure. Chasing NNR was the right approach though. Both teams batting aside from Buttler will be happy to forget this game ever happened.

It's very difficult for an Associate team to play against quality spinners. It requires exposure to them over a long period of time.

That's one of the big difference between us and the test nations, the quality of spinners.

Did Jimmy Anderson come up Scotland's game plan against spin. Sweep and reverse sweeping every ball. Total performance by Afghanistan. Looking very good to surprise a few in this group. Could see Australia struggling to cope with these spinners.

Afghanistan are well suited for T20 cricket. They are 8th top ranked team. Nabi is top ranked T20 all-rounder, 3rd & 5th top ranked bowlers, 10th ranked batter.
