There's a programme on TV called "Impossible Repairs". I fully expected it to be an hour's worth of people saying "Nah, it's f*cked". I was disappointed that all repairs were, in fact, possible 🙄

    It is what it's.

Or you could just put it in a reusable plastic container.

Can't decide whether to go to Wexford for the last few days of my leave or not. Have some personal stuff going on so I'm like "Will a few days of alone time be good for me or will I have waaaaay too much time to think?"

Changing my mind every five minutes.

People who leave 1 square of toilet paper on the roll, in order to avoid having to change the roll of toilet paper themselves. Like what do you expect me to do with 1 square of toilet paper ??? Just change the god damn roll, it takes two seconds to do 😤😤😤

And make sure the paper hangs outwards, not in towards the wall.

Worse again.. people (my son in particular) who just leave the empty cardboard roll on the holder without bothering to put it in the bin that doesn't even require you getting up from the toilet seat.

I've got that too, but there'll always be a fresh roll being used sitting on top of the container for the unused ones. Cardboard on the holder, full in-use roll sitting on a thing just under it... Laziness!

TA'd I still haven't won the lotto and still have to work... boo work!

So the cost of living is going up, and we have been getting bombarded with news of how the government are going to help out the pensioners and those on social welfare.

Do they know the electricity prices and inflation apply to the ordinary workers as well?

Shut up and pay your taxes like a good middle income worker. We don't have a voice.

Another gross individual has started to become a regular at my bus stop in the morning. He normally takes the same route as I do to the bus stop. He walks at a brisk pace while smoking and he spits and grunts every 2-3 seconds, it's those nasty big spits also in which he projects the spittle from between his teeth. If I'm ahead of him I pick up the pace to keep as far away from him as possible. I've yet to come up with a suitable nickname for him but I'm thinking of referring to him as "Surly Greenhockle" on account of both his bright green backpack and his spitting habit 🤢

Leave your offspring in a cardboard box at someone's door or do you all live in your own shyte?

I had a left over curry in the fridge that I was to have for dinner last night. Turned out that the kids had picked all the chicken out of it so I had an onion curry :(

The inability of some people to just move on. There's a thread in Feedback which is 29 pages and 870 posts of two increasingly entrenched factions basically just shouting "You're wrong!" at each other. It'd be amusing if it wasn't so depressing. The irony is, they're "discussing" that the same thing keeps happening in the forum in question and keep blaming each other even though they're both doing the exact same thing.

Go for a walk or something, lads.

Have you seen the reverse parking the car thread?

I'd say it's more of a conspiracy than cycling.

Ah right. Doubling down is a feature of both these things.

I avoided that altogether after the sh*t-show that was the last one. The people of Boards choose some very random hills to die on indeed.

Well I had to let a roar at a driver reversing in to a spot earlier....the centre of their car was perfectly aligned with the white line, which would have been fine if a double spot but my car was parked in the adjacent spot.

Wouldn't mind but I had said to them you need to come about two foot to your left. (I was returning to my car from trolley bay) not only that but my car was on the driver's side so any mirror looking or awareness would have shown they were in the wrong position. They tried to reposition their car again and reverse only stopping when I roared you're going to hit my car they were a hand span away from my bumper with about a foot of their car about to hit mine so a massive misjudge.....drove into the spot on the other side perfectly.

Can we please leave that discussion to the actual thread? It's going to drag this one way off topic...

Well my trivial annoyance was having to stand at my car to protect it.
