land under new ownership

So there is an old superstition that when.. land changes ownership, like a farther to child their is usually an animal death on the farm.

I experienced this ..all was well but shortly after the transfer I lost an animal. Nothing changed on the running of the farm and was told 'it happens' when farm is under new ownership....anyone ever experience this ?

I've heard something similar to that. I think there was a cow died here when dad took over, can't remember much about it but I do remember her being taken her away.

Not something I’d ever heard of before but it got me thinking about an animal that died here in a sort of freak accident and I went looking back. She died less than 3 months after I had taken over and we hadn’t lost an animal in years before that.

I’ve lost several every year since I took over. I’m relieved, I though it was something I was doing wrong!! When do they stop dying? 🤦‍♂️

I've heard all sorts of piseogs, I even had to move a house because of one, but never heard that. Didn't happen in my case.

It's an old wives tale, If i were you I think I'd be using a more scientific apprroach to figure out why they're dying, it has nothing to do with pisheogs

Yeah coughing and dung coming out like water on a good number of animals in the one bunch. This bunch was injected 6 weeks ago but gave them levefas last week. Weight fell off some of them in the space of two weeks.
