So there is an old superstition that when.. land changes ownership, like a farther to child their is usually an animal death on the farm.

I experienced this ..all was well but shortly after the transfer I lost an animal. Nothing changed on the running of the farm and was told 'it happens' when farm is under new ownership....anyone ever experience this ?

Not something I’d ever heard of before but it got me thinking about an animal that died here in a sort of freak accident and I went looking back. She died less than 3 months after I had taken over and we hadn’t lost an animal in years before that.

I’ve lost several every year since I took over. I’m relieved, I though it was something I was doing wrong!! When do they stop dying? 🤦‍♂️

It's an old wives tale, If i were you I think I'd be using a more scientific apprroach to figure out why they're dying, it has nothing to do with pisheogs

Yeah coughing and dung coming out like water on a good number of animals in the one bunch. This bunch was injected 6 weeks ago but gave them levefas last week. Weight fell off some of them in the space of two weeks.

My beep dung samples from last week, showed up both types of fluke present, even with the dry summer.

Maybe yours had fluke too with the watery scour.

Perhaps animec and zanil dose next time?

Vet is advising anyone who oral dosed and are seeing problems to now dose with ivermec

Vet said to dose with levefas for stomach worms. It’s due to the hot weather this last few weeks he said and is seeing a lot of it.
