Bilberry - Embarrassing Road for Greenway Tourism

are they waiting for the land owners to give in in the area, so they can move it off the road, or something?

it certainly will be interested to see how they tie all of these together, billberry certainly is awful though, but maybe theyre waiting to pull it all together, along with the new ross greenway, who knows.

made an attempt to walk the tramore track about 20 years ago or so, i was ending up on too many private properties, so gave it a miss, need to get a move on with the new ross track, ive only done a few k of it so far, wanna do the whole lot, before it opens

Not sure if the New Ross one will get off the ground, there's quite a bit of local opposition to the fact that they've actually lost a railway line, and considering Rosslare is getting busier and busier, it would have been a no brainer to get frieght traffic to dublin via Train.

Is the Tramore route really worth the trouble? Cant see the landscape between the city and Tramore being that interesting - pretty flat etc.

It’s already off the ground work has been going on the last year i thought or has that changed and there’s no work going on now?,i only read last week that the car park in Ferrybank had been chosen.

the greenway in its entirety, a very rural area, use to peace and quite, and higher chances of break ins etc

Higher chance of break ins?! HAhahahahahaha! Yeah burglars are well known to cycle 40km roundtrip in order to break into Paddy the farmers house. You should have told him to cop himself on.

funnily enough folks, more access points are created into areas where greenways are built, strange fact, but true, might be due to the increase in traffic envisaged into these areas, in order facilitate construction works, to emergency response vehicles, even users of the infrastructure, strange logic, i dont think so!!!!

hahaha people are fcuking mad in the internets! it makes perfect sense if theres an increase in traffic in an area, theres gonna be an increase chance of crime in these areas, thats pretty much normal logic there now butty. we should always take this into consideration, when building such infrastructure, and along the fact, it also causes a fairly significant disturbance to peoples lives, who have lived in relative peace in the countryside, we typically go, ah fcuk your needs, lets build it anyway, shur it ll be good for us and the economy!

From Kilmeaden to Clonea bar Kilmac is rural and very isolated in places,the greenway runs next to peoples homes and you can see into front and back gardens a lot of houses even have access from their house onto the greenway ,has there in the 4yrs since its been open an increase in breaks ins due to the greenway?
