    I actually changed off Next this weekend, seemed to be getting slower and then seen a post about it on Reddit against using it

    Trying Adguard, have lifetime licence, but found was having issues with wifi connection and Facebook comments with the app (setup using their guide)

    That's on privacytools. If using chrome, then I doubt Next would make much difference in terms of trust.

    Firefox is usually their go to.

    Ah I see

    I have it in chrome and private dns so the whole system, just to see if any better

    If people have a vpn, some of them will provide dns Adblocking as well as usual vpn service

    Downloader probably next on their hitlist. Would be nice if a filelinked alternative crops up.

    Can anyone recommend a good app for Irish radio stations that you can control (switch between stations) while your phone is locked and will display the station/track listings when connected to a bluetooth system, please?

    Thanks corkie and Mr E. I did give it a go, but it's not really what I'm looking for.

    The reason I am looking for an app that you can use when the screen is locked is so that you can change the channel via bluetooth while driving and, hopefully, it would show what channel/song you are listening to. I'll keep looking, but thanks again for responding.

    Not sure if this is the right place but got my daughter a new phone but I'm stuck transferring her game apps and their progress. Mainly Toca World and Temple of the Mask.

    I've done the smart switch and it looked like the games and their data were transferred but when I opened the games she was back to to the start on both.

    Does anybody know how to transfer?

    You've made sure to sign into the new phone with the same account as the old phone?

    Different games keep progress in different ways. you may need to log into another account within the game, to trigger the save to activate. Or you may need to play an opening bit of the game, before you can retrieve your progress.

    Without having played these games myself, it's hard to know! :)

    Thanks, I have logged in with the same google account.


    The problem with these games is that you don't have to log in to them and there's no specific save function. I've emailed Toca Boca the makers of Toca World for advice.


    Some youttube videos showed moving Data files and OBB files but that didn't work either.

    No idea, I saw it on another forum and decided to post it in case it was for a short limited time and I was running with dinner. Now I am just bloated and feel like I've eaten for 20 people... Can't even find the strength to open the reviews.........

    Brave Browser is great for watching Youtube vids. No ads and the video keeps playing if you turn off the screen.

    You can't download the videos though.
