    Jolt just felt like another full movie there to set up a Universe just an over long pilot episode.

    Kate Beckinsale is of course easy on the eye to watch just like Milla Jovovich they have fallen into the B movie action roles and they are both much better than that.

    Yeah, like the basic idea is fine, maybe even interesting, with all the shady people secretly pulling strings, but as a stand alone story it didn't even make sense.

    Beckinsale can definitely act, brilliant in love and friendshipnin particular.

    She was also good in that TV show the Widow (even though the show itself wasn't great).

    But she needs to be slightly more choosey with her roles

    Usually is a stretch but have had a better strike rate here than the other platforms for their content yes, still find it odd that it appears to continue to do so after Star on Disney Plus launched (Nine Perfect Strangers coming to Prime next month).

    I watched Shadow in the Cloud because of the positive comments here but thought it was disgracefully bad on so many fronts. I actually wanted to turn it off half-way through but forced myself to watch it till the bitter end.

    Glad it hit Amazon cos it was something I was meaning to check out. Not surprised the views are so extreme cos just in the space of the trailer, I was unsure if I loved or hated what I saw.

    I feel like it's definitely something that's best watched as blind as possible, but at the same time it's probably one that some people would need to be prepared for. Without spoiling anything, it starts out as one thing, has a very unexpected reveal in the middle, and then just changes genre, tone, pace, direction, everything, for the second half. Personally I really enjoyed it, I thought it was a lot of fun, but I can see why some people wouldn't like it. I'm not sure if it counts as a B movie, but it's definitely not one to take too seriously.

    I get that. I may have been a little more receptive to it, had I been a bit more prepared beforehand (even though I usually prefer to go into most films blind). I'll refrain from going into detail here, as I don't want to keep dragging this thread off course too much.

    element reeked of The Twilight Zone the one the Simpsons ripped.

    Well, that spoiler tag worked...

    Watched it myself. It was complete nonsense and far too cluttered but I enjoyed it in a having a beer and pizza and switching the brain off kind of way. There were parts that were totally preposterous but I was hooked to the screen with the tension.

    Ya it's fine for a one time only watch, I was similar kept me relatively entertained for it's short duration but ultimately when it's been processed can't say it would be something I'd recommend myself.

    From that list I highly recommend Short Term 12 to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's a great film but also the ultimate "before they were famous". It's got Brie Larson, Kaitlyn Dever, LaKeith Stanfield, Stephanie Beatriz, and the guy who played Freddie Mercury.

    I Am Not A Serial Killer is also very good.

    Half way through series “upload”

    kinda comedy , kinda drama , kinda mystery’ show.

    Good performances from the unrecognised actors and pretty entertaining.

    8/10 (so far)

    Yeah gave it a go. Lashed through. Easy enough watch with enough to keep us interested anyway. There are some pointless arch's but 6/10 for me.
