No question one or two expert engineers or set designers would do it the world of good, but the people who watch gb news have had enough of experts so it simply wasn't an option.

Universities are just left wing breeding grounds can't trust the educated .

Andrew Neill lives in France and wishes he was English.

Yeah, books corrupt your mind, we should give all children 16 years hard labor instead of school, to harden us up.

Yeah, there's rules alright, but how they are interpreted and enforced is malleable and I wonder how stringent the former editor of The Daily Mail, Paul Dacre, will be if Johnson appoints him to head Ofcom as rumoured is going to happen.

This is why silentcorner is so upset the protests are not being done through the “proper channels”; he knows the proper channels will do nothing so he’s upset that a way has been found to circumvent them.

I think you are projecting a little here...like you need to believe I am angry.

This is a UK media channel, that I haven't watched more than 5 mins of...

I will tune in however when they offer alternate views on issues that will affect us here in Ireland...and I won't be apologizing to anyone when I do.

Assuming they are still on air that is!
You seem to be very invested in something you haven't watched more than 5 mins of. Why is that?

'Nothing works': insiders describe production chaos in first week of GB News

    https://f7td5.app.goo.gl/xQw1hZ
Almost everything that could have gone wrong on the production side has done, from incorrect graphics, clips not appearing, microphones not working, cameras out of focus and broken autocues.
GB News staff PoliticsHome spoke to agreed Sunak's interview was a success, largely because it was not a tech-intensive operation. But as one said: “When it comes to the live TV side, it's a clusterfùck.”

They described scenes of chaos that far outstrip those creating so much mirth on social media. “There’s just shìt coming at you from all sides,” said one.

    Just LOL:D

watched a bit of it after the england game last night and the presenter hadn't a Scooby what the result meant for both teams, the OB's they had live from Edinburgh and London weren't much better, the London one didn't know when england were playing again.

I'm really glad GB News is up and running, and I hope it keeps going for a long time.

Ever since Accidental Partridge quit tweeting, Twitter has been quite boring. Now, we have @GBNewsFails

I didn't think I'd have to spell this out...but anyway, like I said in the post you quoted I will tune in when they offer alternate views on issues that will affect us here in Ireland.

Saw that bit myself and she hadnt a clue about the game, she even asked the reporter "what does this result actually mean?"

I thought their editorial line on Scotland and their fans interesting too. While the BBC and ITV news reported 20,000 Scottish fans in London as having a party and a good time yer wan on GB News was finger wagging at the Scots for coming down to London with no tickets for the game in the first place.

Will be interesting to see what the editorial line of GB News is when covering Ireland north and south and what Boris does about the Protocol in the coming weeks

Watched a bit of Andrew Doyles free speech nation and thought it was very good,. He had a left leaning and right leaning person on talking about cancel culture, both making points without shouting or abusing each other and even found some common ground. Production seemed the finest but it was the first bit of GB news i had watched. Never heard of Doyle before but he was quite witty and funny.

I think you are confusing my participation in this thread with investment in the new station....it's only a tv station, it may earn it's keep or it may not!

What's that ? That the numbers are crap they've no sponsors the only people watching are doing so for the laugh and the investors are pissed?

If only we could have foreseen all this at the start of this thread.

I see the people who hate GB News are now reading the Daily Express.... :)

It’s important to get your news from diverse sources, gives a more balanced view.

And then, once you’ve done that, go to The Express for the comedy pages.

I see the daily express is linked in Twitter headlines .

Do you not read various sources to from your own opinions?

Upon closing his show, Andrew said: “That’s it for tonight and from me for the next few weeks.

“But I leave you in the safe and professional hands of Colin Brazier.”

However, Andrew assured fans his break wouldn’t be too long: “I’ll be back before the summer is out and when you least expect it so stay tuned.”

That's pretty damn relevant isn't it!

I've watched a good few clips now, not as rabidly brexity as i thought it was going to be, once they sort out Andrew Neil's microphone and wig they'll do ok i think.
