    Let's not forget this.

Returning the matter to July 8th, he said all will be aware by then of developments on July 5th, which would dictate how the judicial review matter would proceed. He also directed the Minister to serve an affidavit by July 2nd outlining the nature of his side’s opposition to the proceedings.

It must be absolutely exhausting living your life this way.

Some people are getting p***** off over the utter s***show that affects our lives to a degree like nothing else before.

How uncool and 'worked up' are they? Say the people who are here 24/7 arguing with them.

By your own logic think about it for a moment whats worse...

There hasn’t been a bigger lie told in the last year than NPHET saying it’ll only be another 3 weeks, they are obviously not going to recommend opening right before the BH, they think we are idiots, it’s just insane, what are we doing listening to these people at this point.

Think PTH2009 called it here first about indoor dining not opening on July 5th,looks like he could be right and was ridiculed by some posters

He called it based on a joke from a comedians Facebook page.... can't exactly say that's calling it

For those of us having a couple of drinks at home and posting on boards, why are you posting on boards from the pub?

I’m done with this, if they announce a delay I’m booking a flight out of here.
    I honestly can't blame you...

I have been working from home since March (glad to still have a job) barely seen any friends bar a couple of times outside, seen my folks twice....I will have my second jab in just over a week. Kept to every restriction and to every bit of advice. The government and NPHET need to realise people have run out of patience, why would people not just hop across the border and spend their money there? Or hop on a plane? Cases are dropping as are the amount of people in hospital.

What's the issue? Didn't realise you are not allowed keep up with social media when down the pub?

Used to roll my eyes at the anti-lockdown mob, but if I see huge protests around July 5th I can hardly blame them. I simply don't have faith in the government anymore to ease restrictions.

Why do the government ignore the economical and societal issues involved and act so disproportionately? Why are they letting Tony Holohan and NPHET run the show basically?

If you find socialising with anonymous people online preferable while in a social environment with real people that is a personal choice. Who am I to judge

47 people in hospital and 13 in ICU out of a population of over 5 million people yet the government are considering a delay to the scheduled easing of restrictions.

I'd laugh but it really doesn't surprise me anymore, there's going to be plenty of variants over the next few months some more transmissible than others. Are we going to put the brakes on or pull up the handbrake and come to sudden stop every time a new variant is found here?

McConkey far more optimistic than I would have thought

    I'm shocked

He's hopeful about indoor dining happening on time

There is nothing in any available data to suggest any delay to the current timeline is warranted. The main reason being, the vaccination program so far should slow down any negative trend enough to give time to react if necessary, which I don’t think will be

Or maybe we continue to vaccinate people.

Couldn't be arsed watching prime time given the trash they usually serve up. What's he saying then ?

I agree nothing in the data to warrant a delay

Whether one will happen or not is up in the air

Paul Cunningham on rte saying ministers open to a delay is worrying
