In fairness, he is some competitor. Doesn't let the lack of height get in his way.

He definitely is, one of my favourites.

He definitely is, one of my favourites.

His grandad escaped the nazis in Germany and got on a boat to Argentina.

    It's a great story.

It's amazing how Rafa keeps doing it, even when he looked in a little trouble in the third set, he just stepped it up massively. DS didn't really do much wrong but still well beaten in the end

Literally every single women's quarter final went the opposite of how I wanted. Don't really care who wins it now, I've zero investment anymore, but if I had to pick someone it'd be Pavlyuchenkova. Was always a widely tipped prospect but never really made it big on the seniors tour, despite several grand slam quarter finals. Watch Zidansek win it all now!

Waterford whisperers should do a parody piece where Wimbledon will just pick 4 names out of a hat and go straight to the semis.

Was Nadal under pressure in that match? Surprised to see him drop a set, Schwartzman to me is kinda the new Ferrer, plenty of guts and energy but no killer weapon

Never thought he would lose the match, but, at one stage in the third set he looked as uncomfortable as I've seen him at RG for a long time, didn't last long though.

Novak really needs to get this done in three to have a chance against Nadal.

Just thinking the same. You can see the worry in his face.

The cracks are starting to appear. He can be hurt. But not killed yet.

I only give him 3 more RG's before he's done.

    Great hold by Berrettini.

Berrettini can't win a point in around the net.

    Some poor shot selection.

    First serve starting to motor.

So....who'll be more freaked out by the compete silence that will fall in 15 mins???

Must be a total headwrecker, esp in the middle of a big match!

I agree to a certain extent with your second statement.

    The first, not so sure!

    Possibly Berrettini.

Definitely got the crowd with him.

Couldn't have seen this going beyond 3.

I thought it was gone when he missed that easy drop shot.

Who'd have foreseen Djokovic giving up those 2 points on serve @ 5-4?!

The crowd going will probably suit Djokovic as the crowd was getting behind Berretini

The ITV commentators were going on and on earlier about how Novak hated the empty, silent court at night earlier in the tournament......

Will be interesting, that's for sure!

djkovic will have no reason to go to the toilets if he loses this set

Berretini battering him, NAdal will be laughing his ass off ..

Too many unforced errors by Berrettini in the longer rallies :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,809 ✭✭✭Hector Savage

Tennis really is amazing, never is over till it's over, who'd have thought it at 2/0 down that Berretini could win this
