Jubilant scenes again. More people rising up against unelected Tony.

    80 people in hospital. 80.

Christ are people still wanting to have an election to decide who gets to be CMO :pac:

Ask you genius son maybe if you can't figure it out yourself.

I didn't say my son is genius.

But you said We know, my son says I know when he tells me his ideas. Unless you are many of course.

Doubt you have to be genius to see the difference.

Seeing as you need help, we refers to me and all the other people who would have foreseen ever increasing crowds outdoors as hospitalisation fell, vaccinations rose and the weather improved.

Were you shocked by what happened in Dublin last weekend? Did you not see it coming at all?

Well I always speak for myself, so is my son.

Maybe you should try the same, if you need some help with that, ask around.

But of course some peeps needs to speak as We.

    Was I shocked? Nope.

I think these restrictions are ridiculous and destroying the economy. I think that we've been infantalised by our govt and I think Tony H. Is an egomaniac/narcissist who has overstepped and is long overdue being shown the door BUT

All I see in those videos (and the many others taken from various angles) is a bunch of teenagers mindlessly wrecking an historic bandstand and/or risking pulling down the roof with their stupid antics and killing someone.

I agree its Tony's fault they've nowhere to go but I dont by any stretch think wrecking an historic structure in well loved public park is "great to see".

I find that footage upsetting actually.

Tony's not thinking about them either, 'Not enough fear in that'

Personally wishing all the patients a full recovery

I understand your point but it's the principle of ripping down barriers, measures and restrictions put in place over covid that people are celebrating.

    Years from now;

Grandchild: "Hey Grandad, what did you do during the great online Covid wars of the early 20's?"
    Grandad: "I sh*t posted, sweetie. I sh*t posted a LOT."

They should've left that bandstand alone and nobody would've looked at it twice. Now that they've drawn attention to it, there's a possibility some ****wits will come along and damage the thing just because...

There should be an Idiots guide to boards with the suggestion that if you don't like a thread, just don't read it.

If it hadn't appeared on Claire Byrne I wonder would it have been fenced off at all.

In that case this thread would be dead. Apart from 20 or 30 posters hugging each other. Where's the fun in that?
