After letting the songs sit in my head for a few days, my personal favorite is definitely ICELAND. I don't think they will win due to their live absence on Saturday, I personally see it between Switzerland, France, Ukraine, and Italia (Possibly San Marino for a surprise top 5 finish).

Moldova getting through last night was a disgrace

Been having a little think over the last 24 hours. I reckon Ukraine could surprise everyone and win it.

Their song is an absolute belter..

Think Malta could be in the mix and Portugal as dark horses.

As for disgraces... I will see your Moldova and raise you Albania.

I think Malta and Portugal are personal top 5s of mine, would like to see them do well. I agree - I wouldn't have put Albania through myself but Moldova was next level diabolical

Had a listen to the finalists on Spotify today, few growers on me ie Russia and Norway especially. Few songs sound way better/different on spotify than live though.

    Finland now 7th favourites @25/1

They were 80/1 before the semis.

It will probably win the televote but I'm not sure what the juries will think of it, the jury will probably vote something lame as their winner

Loved the fact Finland and Germany (I don't feel hate) are placed beside eachother in the finals

I could actually see Iceland win it, even with the recorded version....you could hardly even notice last night that it wasn't live, with the crowd in the arena cheering along to what they were watching.

I think France and Switzerland are very much in the mix. The likes of Ukraine, Italy and San Marino will probably go high in the televote and Malta should do fairly well.

I might be in the minority here but I think the Iceland song is fairly rubbish.

I loved their song last year and I'm certain it would've won but this year's one seems like a B side from last year's CD. Even the dance moves are similar.

I think a lot were voting midweek based on last year's song rather than this year's. Reckon it'll flop in the final.

    I hope Portugal do well.

    It's a well written, "song"

I'm not overly keen on it either.

It's inoffensive but not memorable for me.

    Serbia will get my vote

Can someone remind me how the results are done these days.

So we go around to each country and they give us their Jury votes. Then afterwards the votes of the general public are added on in lumps? Is that it?

There will be a massive disconnect between jury votes and fan votes this year I feel. Italy, Finland, Ukraine, Lithuania are unlikely to be jury favourites but will surely get a lot of the fan votes. Switzerland, Malta will probably be favoured by the juries.

Yeah but what was your favourite song?

I agree. Its not a bad song, but its definitely no Think About Things. It sounds like they tried to make 10 Years sound as much like last years song as they could get away with. They are a very likeable group though. They were robbed last year so I wouldnt begrudge them a win if every one else was drab. I just think this years comp is so competitive, I'd be a bit disappointed if they won with '10 years'.

Yeah, each national jury's 1-10 will be shown on screen and the 12 points announced per country. After that, each entry will receive their total televote points - not sure if they're doing it from lowest to highest televote points or by ranking at the end of the jury vote this year!

Must be something wrong with me. I hate the Italian song, don't like Icelandic song at all. France is good but that's all. My favourite is Switzerland but don't know will the audience warm to him. I like Portugal too as well as San Marino and Russia. There is no stand out song this year that you know should walk it but I'd hate to see Italy win.

I think both Italy and Ukraine will do well with juries - both are accomplished tunes and stage performances.
I have little doubt they will clean up in the public vote making both contenders for the win
The only other one I can see making a splash with juries and public is Malta, I think France will do very well with juries but not public.
Very, very, very outside bet would be Portugal (to do as well with both juries and public)

I reckon it'll be either Italy, Ukraine or Switzerland, in fact I reckon the top 3 will finish in that order.

Can't see France or Malta winning.

I was kinda wondering about San Marino getting Flo Rida....it is just so random...how did they afford him?!?
Well according to popbitch...Panini the sticker people stumped up a serious amount of cash!

Perhaps we could go to the European Central Bank and borrow some money to get Kendrick Lamar next year?

I'm all for Switzerland winning. He was my favourite last year too. I reckon the juries and the fans will like him equally as much.

Still seems like an odd choice to throw the money at even if you have it for a Eurovision winner.

Hopefully he presents next year if they win.

I know we don't need to worry too much about it any time soon but who presents yours now it we won. Surely not Daithi

San Marino is a bit of a tax haven, they probably had some cash FLO-ating about

I was there a few a few years ago, I've no idea where they'd fit all the Eurovision folks if they were to win

Find it interesting that lots think Iceland would of romped home last year.

Little Big for Russia are really popular in Europe and their dance during 'Uno' would of been really popular plus it was a really great catchy song and I do think they would of won personally.

Real pity we never got to see both go head to head last year especially as both songs are much better than anything in it this year!
