    I got a phone call from the vaccination centre this afternoon asking if I could come in straight away. Unfortunately that wasn't possible, but I should get my appointment by the end of the week.

    Leggers, I took your advice and went for a lovely afternoon sleep. Feel great now.

    The OH wouldn’t let me watch Eurovision on the TV as he said I’d probably be on my tablet half the time and there was a documentary he really wanted to watch at the same time.... compromise - the key to a lasting relationship.

    ... ho hum. Would have liked to just have had a quick look at the music and politics campfest wherever it’s being held this year. Is it Portugal? :D:pac:

    After 78 days on duty, I find myself sitting In the last row of an A330 heading home. I can tell that things here are getting back to normal as there are over 30 deadhead crew on this plane who have just landed from international destinations.

    I think the last lock down was fatigue inducing, much of it caused by the awful weather.

    I have to push myself to keep active and find I have little interest in most activities.

    But I drove to the west for a meeting and back again today and enjoyed the open road and my own company for six hours driving.

    Late dinner being cooked after a day out and about, running errands and meeting a friend. :)

    It’s a roast - stuffed pork, golden crispy roast potatoes, green beans and sweetcorn. :D Nearly ready and smells bloody delicious. :pac:

    First day off so like a sensible person I spent it touring between two hospitals renewing my annual medical, I really hate hospitals.

    Then sat on the balcony drinking beer with the wife while the mutt relaxed beside us :)

    No guests allowed :)
