Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Leinster:

    Starting 15
Cian Healy, Sean Cronin, Tadhg Furlong, Ryan Baird, James Ryan, Josh Murphy, Josh van der Flier, Caelan Doris

Luke McGrath, Ross Byrne, Dave Kearney, Robbie Henshaw, Garry Ringrose Jordan Larmour, Jimmy O'Brien

    Substitutes
Ronan Kelleher, Michael Milne, Michael Bent, Devin Toner, Jack Conan, Cormac Foley, Rory O'Loughlin, Tommy O'Brien

    Ulster Rugby:
Eric O Sullivan, Rob Herring, Marty Moore, Sam Carter, Iain Henderson, Matthew Rea, Sean Reidy, Nick Timoney

David Shanahan, Billy Burns, Craig Gilroy, Stuart McCloskey, James Hume, Robert Baloucoune, Jacob Stockdale

    Substitutes
Bradley Roberts, Callum Reid, Tom O'Toole, Alan O'Connor, Greg Jones, Nathan Doak, Ian Madigan, Robert Lyttle

bookies have this as -17 spread to Leinster, which is about right. Great talent out wide for Ulster, but will they get clean enough ball to utilise?

Probably makes sense for Ulster to go strong as sending a bunch of kids to get smashed will not be good for anyone

That said for the last two games we need to be starting the likes of Reid and Doak, and if fit maybe giving Stewart a shot at hooker.

    The title has puzzled me.

It's currently May. This rainbow cup is nonsense so you "May Care" or you may not care. Care obviously is followed by Bear to complete everyone's favourite children's TV show, "Care Bear(s)". It is a cup.

    May Care Bear Cup. Genius.

I'd go back to my suggestion a few weeks back to Rainbow Cup with Bungle, Zippy George and Geoffrey.

Ryan is a world class defensive lineout jumper.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,366 ✭✭✭yerrahbah

    Can Healy do that?

Leinster with a slow start again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Shanahan forgot for a second there that he's only 5'5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ryan's second lineout steal 5m from our own line.

Slipping tackles and letting players gain metres after the tackle, some really really sloppy stuff in defence so far.

Ryan has saved us a fair few times so far

Are Leinster just refusing to go to Ravenhill these days?

Harsh calling the knock on, it was so crooked Rhea had to stretch that far to get a finger tip to it

    Utterly horrendous from McGrath.

    Beautiful try, Kearney got nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinster had plenty of opportunities to clear their lines in the last 5 minutes.

Very poor play. We've been awful for the opening 20.

    What am I watching!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,222 ✭✭✭A-Train

That’s been coming. Leinster have been terrible bar their defence. Nice try Ulster

Well worked try to be fair, Leinster contributed with some poor decisions in defence but credit to Balacoune and McCloskey in particular.

Terrible scrum and we were punished

Leinsters work.at the breakdown has deteriorated alarmingly over the last few weeks. La Rochelle demolished us there and Ulster have had hit this week.

It's opposite day today, we've decided that it's our turn to fall of tackles and let the opposition dominate us

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Great steal from Baird at the lineout.

The one area where we're comfortably on top.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I don't rate Burns very highly.

He hesitated so much there are telegraphed his kick.

No idea why Burns even tried to pull that kick off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Byrne mustn't be fully fit if Ringrose is taking the place kicks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,222 ✭✭✭A-Train

    That looks good by Healy.

JOB is taking the touch finders, so his hamstring must be tight

    Is Ross gone off?

Brilliant read from Henshaw but I think he caught Baloucoune high.

    Red

    Edit: maybe not...

Kearney and Henshaw saving us there, Henshaw hurt himself and possibly gave away a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,279 ✭✭✭ongarite

Henshaw just killed himself with that hit.

That's certainly a passage of Rugby
