It's a hair past the freckle and the moles catching up; as we used to reply as kids when asked as to the time when not wearing a watch - after glancing at a bare wrist.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

My beater watch (of several years). Worn when out doing outdoor things where watches will be beaten (often severely)

I decided to play around with my Astronaut, my SR71 and a lovely tome on the same topic ;)
    To try and be artsy...

I failed miserably at artistic :( but the photos are done now and this is where they shall be inflicted :P

Titanium: When you can't afford to mess around

My ex got me the mug from the aeorospace museum where she got to get close up and personal with the real thing, while I didn't.

Continuing the theme of buying watches I like, which aren't very expensive, I picked up this Timex Expedition on Amazon recently. Indiglo is neat.

Is that the Titanium Carbon Black? It's really nice.

Yeah I think that's the model.

But I have to say for a titanium watch it's heavier than I imagined it would be. Would the auto mechanism add a lot of weight? I have a titanium Seiko and it's as light as a feather compared to it, but it's a quartz.
